One of the best cartoons to come out in a good while.

Do you like Pokémon? Digimon? Yu-Gi-Oh? How about Avatar: The Last Air Bender? If so, you will love this show. It is like they took all the best parts of all of these shows threw them in a blender. Kaijudo is an awesome show. It has it all, decent animation, good monster battles, characterization, a great story arc. The creatures are all really cool and creative. It has a great villain that WILL tick you off. It, also, has a great moral of respecting life and animals, as well as the value of friendship. Without spoiling the story, we have intrigue, betrayal, and some great plot twists. This show is up there with Avatar: The Last Air Bender and Teen Titans in terms of quality and if you are a fan of cartoons and creature battles, I highly recommend it. It, also, has a pretty neat card game tied in, which, is a re-imagining of the game Duel Masters. I tend to be very pessimistic about the cartoons of today, but this one stands out as being excellent and well worth watching. As a fan of cartoons, I am super duper glad to have found this show, as it is one of the best I have seen in many years.

You want a summery? It is VERY sad, but VERY good.

Warning: Spoilers
For some reason I had a dream about watching Edward Scissorhands. My dreams are always weird. Personally, I always found Burton to be really hit or miss. I had not seen this movie since I was a kid (so I watched it) and DAMN. It is a social commentary on how we are as humans (manipulate, cruel, afraid of what we do not understand) while also commenting on the middle class and much more. On top of that it is a story of an outcast that only wants to be accepted, but is different and eventually shunned because of it. It is a tragic love story of a man that does not age and having only had a taste of love and friendship, is forced to live alone, forever. So sad and very relatable for me having always been an outcast. Easily Burton's best film. The feels. I cried like a baby.
