The Walking Dead: Self Help (2014)
Self Help top episode you should understand why I'm smarter than you ;)
Another top episode of #TheWalkingDead really good back story for both Abraham and Eugene and emotional scenes with great progressing characters & good adaptations from the comics! Yeah I'm a nerd with this but it makes me happy and I don't give a crap :) Overall for me Self Help gave Abraham and Eugene their first real character- building/revealing story since they came into the series last February. Eugene was using Abraham to survive and, despite the big betrayal, Abraham was using Eugene's lie to help facilitate his own subconscious denial. An inner pain that manifested itself physically through his own never-healing bloody hand. The twist was something viewers may have been able to spot coming, while comic readers knew for sure would come, but it was still all handled really well here. With very great performances from Michael Cudlitz and Josh McDermitt. McDermitt may have even had the trickier time, perhaps, since Eugene often sticks out as having a somewhat mannered, cartoon like delivery style compared to the others around him. It was Brilliant "I'm smarter than you"
The Walking Dead: Strangers (2014)
A mans got to eat
After last week's exhilarating season 5 premiere, The Walking Dead slows things down a little and gives us an episode that really introduces what this new season is going to be all about. Robert Kirkman, who penned this one, opens the zombie gates to a larger discussion about faith and survival. These are the two themes that will juxtapose each other for much of the season, I think. How far are you willing to go to survive while still having faith that there is goodness in the world?
Rick doesn't seem to have faith in much anymore except his family. And who can blame him? He's lost so much in five seasons that it's a miracle he's not just killing everyone he crosses paths with. More than any other survivor in the group, Rick is walking that fine line between hero and villain. To Gimple's credit, he's introduced the Terminans (aka The Hunters -- we'll get to this in a minute) at exactly the right time. Seeing what Gareth is capable of to survive week after week shows us what Rick might turn into if pushed just a little bit farther. Verdict brilliant 10/10 can't wait for more Fear The Hunters
The Walking Dead: No Sanctuary (2014)
Probably the best episode so far
The very beginning, however, featured the most gripping, intense moments as Rick and the rest got gassed out of their container and then bent over a slaughterhouse trough as members of Terminus killed a line of people (including Gotham's Robin Lord Taylor returning briefly as Sam from Season 4's "Indifference" - the first to get "humanely" killed like a pig) that led right up to Glenn. As well as Daryl, Rick, and Bob. Though it was Glenn everyone's been worried about ever since it looked like he was a goner in the Season 5 trailer. That shot of the guy about to bash his brains in with a bat sent the show's fandom into panic mode. So this was very well done horror scene in its own right! Everything inbetween was awesome! Now....let's talk about that quick post credits scene at the end. If you haven't seen it, hopefully you DVR'd the episode can can go back to check it out. MORGAN MORGAN MORGAN!
The Walking Dead: A (2014)
Simply a brilliant finale!
Cliffhangers are annoying but can work and can be really good! I loved this finale!
There were many exciting scenes what put you on the edge of your seats for example: -The marauders attacking Rick and trying to rape Carl -Ricks and co arriving at terminus and realising somethings not right -The flashbacks -Even the dude getting eaten lol! Etc....And more!
Overall this was better the the season 1 & 3 finales on par or even better than season 2 finale even though there was no main character deaths! It was just different and different is good! This season has been my favourite season so far its fresh, brilliant writing, brilliant character development and darker and shocking scenes and episodes! 10/10 by far this was best season! Cannot wait for season 5!
The Walking Dead: Us (2014)
It can't end yet! Too good to end!
Brilliant acting and writing it's too good to end!
This new different group story line is a lot different more exciting than the normal single story lines as it is different they've been showing. Following up last week's episode it's impressive that we've been given yet more new stuff its fresh.
This episode is a brilliantly gripping and makes you want more, and they definitely keep the show in check.
Next week's finale, I have a feeling, is going to be intense, dark and mind blowing and predict another season for season 5 as well as this past season.
More of the best writing is yet to come. !!!(THIS MIGHT BE A SPOILER)!!!BUT I THINK TERMINUS IS BEING RUN BY CANNIBALS AND I THINK THE FINALE IS GOING TO BE DARK AND SHOCKING! EVEN POSSIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE TO WATCH OR EVEN SCARY! YOU NEVER KNOW!
