Pálpito (2022)
Typical Latin American over acted soap opera
Typical Latin American over acted soap opera. Some people love this genre, but if what you are looking is for an acting that looks real, and not exaggerated characters then you should go for this one. There are some scenes that look just horrible and extremely artificial, to a point that cuts your connection to the script, as you can clearly feel its disconnection with reality.
Young Royals (2021)
Wonderful!
Taking all the teen drama aside, the plot turns out to be something you can feel as real, the judgment of society dictating how to live our lives, and it's negative effect on people. A story of judgment that might come very familiar to some viewers, and would definitely connect with those.
Mariposas Verdes (2017)
It touches your heart
It's a movie of those that when it's finished is not a happy ending, it certainly leaves you with a depressing taste. It is visualized as a student is a victim, not only of social prejudices, but also of ignorance, tyranny, an intolerant rector and arrogance of society, towards those who are or think differently. This movie is about knowing that it portrays a case that happened in the past, that may well be happening right now, and that is also likely to happen in the future; know that this is nothing more than a film adaptation of tragedies that occur in real life, that is what most affects me.
It is important to pay attention to the message conveyed by this film, a message that should be extended to every corner of each country, especially to educational centers, so that LGBT+ youth do not have to go through the same hardships (product of hate, phobia and ignorance) that those who preceded them
Coco (2017)
Masterly, gorgeous, inexplicable amazing
This is one of the best movies you could ever ask to see. Everything here was perfect, exept for one thing, that was much more than perfect. Well, where to start?
First of all, I never thought this movie was going to be so great, The simple fact of looking at it was very beutiful, the animation, and specially the colors in the movie where so alive and beautiful. The respect for the mexican traditions and culture was perfect. The script is so well made. Characters were simply so realistic and easy to identify yourself with (specially Miguel, you can feel a connection with that character). But the best of all, the thing that pixar could not had done better was the familly feeling, that warm, that ''Je ne sais pas quoi'' about the family, while whatching the movie you can imagine yourself submerge in the core of a very loving, caretaking and heartwarming family.
I really recommend this movie to everyone BUT THIS IS A MOVIE TO BE SEEN IN SPANISH, I watch it in english and was VERY weird, I am planning on whatching it again but in latin spanish.
Krampus: The Devil Returns (2016)
Simple horrible
Three words ''Low budget SH*T'' this is a horrible movie, with an awful scrip, an awful colorization, awful effects, don't waste your time watching this. At first time I thought this was the second part of the first Krampus movie, but it's not, this is the typical project of some guys, who were scratching their balls, and decided to do something with their lives, so they did this. Also the shots are disgusting, you almost feel the breathe of the actors in your screen, the shots are way TOO close. I just took five minutes on seeing this, and that's way more than it deserves. I think it should be a crime to do such lame versions of very good movies
