Godless: Homecoming (2017)
Incredible Ending
Things have been coming together throughout the episodes, but in the final episode, they did an awesome job tying up all the loose strings.
I had tears in my eyes. If I say much more, I will give away the plot and everyone needs to watch the entire series, but particularly this episode.
Like finishing a good book, I will miss this story.
The characters were so well written and the acting was superb. Like so many of the Netflix originals, no expense was spared in the casting or the filming.
Each episode filled in details of the past as well as moving the story for the finale in episode 7.
Great job Netflix!
Saturday Night Live: Lindsay Lohan/Jack White (2012)
Worst of the year
Lindsay Lohan used to be a terrific actress, but she has either forgotten how to act or, at the very least should stay away from live TV and go back to movies where she can do it over and over again until she gets it right. She flubbed lines and missed cues constantly and even when she got the words right, there was no emotion, no acting.
Overall, there are a few good skits, but nothing worth taking up by DVR space to keep and watch again, so I deleted it.
I'm going back and replay the episode with Zooey Deschanel (which is my pick for best episode of the year and which I have kept) to try to regain my faith in SNL.
