3 Body Problem (2024– )
3/10
Unconvincing and illogical
29 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The choice of actors is bad, especially the main actress E. Gonzalez is a total failure for this type of series. She's just a pretty face and nothing more, she's completely unconvincing as a serious and highly intelligent scientist (she's just really bad at acting because she doesn't know how to act the right emotions). This is not helped by the uneven screenplay, which oscillates between interesting, already seen and stupid. A lot of theses are forced and stretched, and the scene with stopping the Doomsday ship with nano-fibers is completely unnecessary and illogical (it was possible to get hold of the data disk in a hundred other ways). All over the planet, people went wild and started killing each other because aliens will come in 400 years?! And smart scientists believe that aliens are not capable of lying and deceiving? WTF? I seriously wonder what goes on in the minds of the screenwriters today. This series is kind of a bad mix of Terminator, The Matrix, The Truman Show and Star Trek. Could and should be better and more intelligent if they aimed at adults.

Strange mixture - it is Indiana but it isn't
1 October 2023
For the first 30 minutes, this film is very close to good old Indiana adventures, but after that... everything went downhill. Action scenes are generic and clearly CG animated, and above all - too cartoonish. There are moments that are completely wrong and unbelievable even in the class of ridiculous James Bond movies. Screenplay is also amateurish, full of stupid, unconvincing twists and dialogues written for children (Indiana's comment of the wrist-watch etc.), with little or no logical plot and elaboration. Story is very thin and predictable. Except Indiana, all characters are dull and superficial. I am sorry for Phoebe Waller-Bridge, she's probably much better actress and this wasn't a role for her.

This franchise and great actor like Harrison Ford deserve better movie, much better Indiana's adventure. With much more mistery, humor, passion, details, spirit of adventure and human warmth.

Twisted Metal (2023– )
5/10
Parents: bloody mess
17 August 2023
Overall cast of this short series is very good and Anthony & Stephanie are good match. Although Twisted Metal is also fine directed and with decent screenplay and sometime is funny, the main problem with this show is constant promoting of aggression, saddistic murdering and literally butchering of human beings. And Twisted Metal is primary made for teenagers! It's like some of writers or directors really enjoying in blood and saddism. And now we wonder why today generation of kids are so mentally ill, drugged and depressed? Why is there so many strange aggression on streets, why youth is smiling at blood scenes (or are indifferent to it) and have no compassion? Why some young people take weapon and go on massive killing-spree? Do we ever ask ourselves what we are doing to the undeveloped minds of kids with this type of "entertainment"? What kind of world we are creating? Twisted Metal in fact would be even better without unnecessary brutality and butchering.

Star Trek: Picard (2020–2023)
9/10
Finally!
13 April 2023
After 30 years of torturing with some half-baked experiments the real Star Trek emerged! No-one, literally no-one is able to replace iconic Picard and his crew. Finally, in the third season they've gathered all of them (including Seven of Nine from Janeway's ship) in an big adventure across galaxies. Fine story and same old feeling of sense and wisdom which was adorned in 90s show are here again, including magical music and blue "star trek" fonts (ending credits of the 3rd season). That and those crew is legandary and timeless. Hope they will continue in these star trek for many more episodes.

Gave it 3 stars but it deserves 1
27 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I haven't seen such a bad and stupid movie in a long time (ok, except maybe John Wick, but it's a stupid B action movie anyway). What bothers me is that the Luther series itself is far better. It is not without mistakes, but it is far better directed and more intelligent. I have not seen this much stupidity even in the stupidest James Bond movies (except for the aforementioned Wick). The dialogues and the scenes themselves seem to have been written by stupid people for stupid people, far from the level we are used to by the excellent BBC series. Although the scenographers tried their best to make Luther a kind of black Batman, the plot is at the level of a low-budget action movie, unconvincing (especially the villain, he'd better return to the role of Gollum), so stupid that I had to watch certain scenes again to be convinced is it possible that the screenwriters and the director are so limited. The scene in which the unconvincing police chief talks on the phone and interrupts her colleague with a warning as if the call was being recorded... Luther takes care of 50 prisoners by himself but can't do anything to one poor Gollum armed with a knife... kerosene is on fire but the heroines are fine even though they are completely drenched with it... A mobile phone that works meters under the ice and in water transmits a signal, although there is no WiFi signal or phone network for miles nearby, helicopters at the end and a flyover of Dover... There are so many mistakes, gaffes and omissions in this film that I wonder if did they do it on purpose. Maybe someone wants to destroy Idris Elba, otherwise a good actor?

Good Girls (2018–2021)
5/10
Boring, repetitive leftist soap-opera
9 January 2023
I admit, the first few episodes were good and tense. And actresses were nice (beautiful, clever, goofy and sweet) with fine written dialogues which succesfully balanced between drama (tragedy) and comedy. But season after the whole premise started to get recyclyced. Game of cat and a mouse, predictive and repetitive. Authors obviously didn't know what to do, where to go. In one episode Beth is trying to get out from criminal underground and in the other she is firestarter who wants to control everything and to get more and more money. And that's fine if it was some shorter series (about 12-16 episodes), but this went into soap-opera waters. And what I really didn't like was putting LGBT agenda in almost every episode. There are literally lgbt posters and drawings in every single episode, not to mention promoting transitioning daughter who is a minor but takes a very dangerous hormone therapy as if it is nothing. And the side-story is shizophrenic too - in some scenes you will see a daughter who become "son" (as if it is really possible - because genders are so more than just a groups of male/female hormones), a "son" who is painting nails and use cosmetics. To add more "wokeness", authors presented all men as low iq idiots, latent gays, criminals or just a bunch of girls in male bodies (who are selling a cosmetics LOL). And that's a shame because this series could be so much better if there were more clever people. If they had put more effort into the plot and not just repetitive relationship between Beth and the criminals, Good Girls probably would have gotten a fifth season.

Nope (2022)

Well directed movie
28 August 2022
It's not an fresh idea, it does look like some clone of SF franchise Cloverfield but it is suprisingly very well written, produced, directed and acted. Main protagonists are colorful, funny but with slight dose of seriosity. The whole scenery and effects are really well made and story itself is interesting and it does succed to be enjoyful. Peele did very good movie, maybe slightly too long but it is not boring. Some younger viewers find this fine picture somewhat boring but in fact they are brainwashed and ruined by stupid short videos from TikTok and they have no concetration and sense for fine details and psychology. This movie deserves at least 7 stars, especially in comparision with today's garbage.

Tales of the Walking Dead: Dee (2022)
Season 1, Episode 3
1/10
The worst episode of Tales
22 August 2022
Who cares for Dee? I see here a fantastic number of people who are crazied about her but I still don't understand American fascination with killers and psychopaths. Story about Dee is already told, everything is already explained in TWD and we (followers of the TWD) already know everything about that lunatic and her daughter Lydia. So, this was awful, boring and totally unnecessary episode about awful, deranged character.

Clever idea, dumb writing
2 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Ozark is full of nonsense and screenwriting mistakes, inconsistent characters, futile spreading of the story and at the very end - an extremely stupid ending. Yes, they wanted to (probably) show how the Byrds became evil and how their children became psychopaths. But it all seems too forced, set up as if someone wanted to violently/harsh end the series. All together, an interesting series with a lot of good actors (except for these two children and Bateman, who is a boring and just average actor), solid directing and mediocre dialogues that try to sound intelligent, but actually turn out to be pure clichés and empty phrases. In addition to all that, the series is spoiled by an obvious note of political nonsense and party bias (Wendy who suddenly does not want to participate in rigging party elections for Republicans, she who would supposedly do anything to save the family, even kill!?). It's so miserable and miserable, grotesque ... These screenwriters shouldn't get a job even in the worst s(h)itcoms.

The Batman (2022)

The worst Batman
21 April 2022
Very bad sequel or remake of the franchise. First of all, it's a completely wrong choice of lead roles - Pattinson is too slow, skinny and pale, too limp and depressed to be a real Batman. In fact, he would be ideal for the role of the Crow (this character was literally copied from that movie / comic). Zoe Kravitz is a bad actress, and Turturro is a good actor who did not deserve such a weak role and poor dialogues. The only success is the portrayal of Riddler (Dano) who is portrayed as a crazy psychopath who strongly resembles Bill Gates. The whole film is actually very stretched, boring, full of clichés, darkness, bad acting and a very modest, thin script without originality or any trace of true human spirit.

Another comedy that is not a comedy
20 February 2022
A film with a lot of great actors, expensive production and just a seemingly entertaining story. What bothers me lately is the political coloration of practically all the films. It is therefore not surprising that even Rasputin is portrayed in this film as a homosexual (although Rasputin was obsessed with women and had hundreds of mistresses, and died because of it) and that even the notorious leftist Adolf Hitler is portrayed as an extreme rightist. I don't believe screenwriters don't know who Hitler and Rasputin really were, but today's times are obviously times of twists, lies, and platitudes. You can no longer escape from the currently imposed politics even in a stupid action movie. Terror.

Another "black victim" movie
14 February 2022
Another film in which blacks are portrayed as victims. In films like this, blacks are absolute victims, even if they are in fact violent criminals. It is actually racism, because currently one race is portrayed as endangered, and other races are portrayed exclusively as oppressors. Hollywood can never understand that all races are equal and that all lives are equally important, whether black, white, yellow or brown... we are all human and I hope there will be end of this nonsense and separation of people! Btw, Fruitvale Station is classical social drama with some fine roles but in the end there's nothing new. It is very predictable and it's just another copy of older dramas.

How they get money for this disaster?
14 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
One of the stupidiest screenplay I ever watched. Man (ex marine) is running from one of the most dangerous Mexican cartels (Coyotes), shielding one innocent Mexican boy. What's wrong with it, you may ask. Well, first of - they are running the whole time with his old Chevy, which is known to killers from the beginning! Althoug he has cash and some time and advantage, he doesn't get idea of changing his well known vehicle!? And there's a scene when they (marine and boy) are happyly burning "blood money". Would you burn (with smile) your last money when you are running, hiding and fighting for your life? Also, dialogues are full of cliches and stupidity and everything is so predictable till the end. All in all, this could be good movie, Liam Neeson is good actor, but they ruined everything with stupid screenplay. It's unbelievable that it is written by three grown men !?

Total disappointment
24 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Loved it and laught first time, but this time... Cohen's jokes are very outdated and worn out, everything is based on old kindergarten-level jokes for morons and for perverts. Always the same deranged jokes about supposedly endangered Jews and gays and mocking republicans but he does not dare to criticize leftists, Antifa terrorists, BLM or their politicians. Very politically colored, biased to the far left. And this with Giuliani is the only thing that raised dust in this miserable piece of trash. But actually it is nothing interesting. It's all about Giuliani really adjusting his pants and microphones (the actress was helping him) and that was nothing indecent or shocking. And that's actually the whole plot of all this rubbish - how to cheat and mock Republicans and Conservatives. Utterly disaster for low IQ children. Cohen is not funny any more and it is time somebody to tell him that.

Money Heist (2017–2021)
5/10
Not flawless but better than most Netflix garbage
6 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
One day I was tempted to see what's new on Netflix. I searched and listed tons of boring, stupid generic series (mostly in 5 categories: teenage school mystery, vampires, zombies, superheroes and drug dealers etc.). Then, suddenly, out of nowhere came some show with short but intrigue name "Money Heist" (and picture of Dali-masked people in red). I didn't know anything about that tv series and thought - another boring stupid Netflix show with amateur directors and wannabe actors, but after only 5 minutes I was deeply dragged into story. Interesting scenario, very lively characters, interesting (natural) dialogues and very well dosed scenes which continue to pull you deeper and turn you in to everhungry tv-zombie who wants only one more episode of "La Casa de Papel" (original name). The first and second season were brilliant, full of energy and well-tempted tempo, but the 3rd and 4th season (parts) are clearly worsen. It is obvious that authors wanted to repeat intense action from previous parts, but most of episodes are pretty generic and screenplay is full of stupidity, also we can see that most actors are actually very bad in their profession (over-acting). Especially bad are "Helsinki" and "Tokyo", she is cute but acting is not for her. But, to keep shocking the viewers they injected "new age" characters like transexual man (although played by woman, because transexual man can never be beautiful like woman, no matter how he try) and some men (all are sociopaths in screenplay) who passionately hugging and kissing each other. It is obvious it is commanded from above that every video today, movie or series has to have some nice, very emotional gay/lesbian characters. Personally I don't care for them, but it is became clear propaganda and it ruins most of shows because it is forced in to. Hope that the 5th part of this show would be the last because there is really nothing more to tell. Story has to be concluded while it is worth. More seasons would devastate it and turn "la Casa" into cheap, repeating spanish soap-opera. EDIT: 5th season is the worst. More stupid and surplus dialogues. Action scenes are pure comedy - granades which don't explode for a whole minute, millions of bullets no magazanie changed etc. Etc... Please, finish this stupidity while you can.

The Witcher (2019– )

Not good at all
23 December 2019
Beside Henry Cavill, all other actors are pretty bad (beginners?). Who was responsible for casting? Story is very weak, changed and it really differs from the game. Scenes are full of stupid useless nudity and really bad , awful acting, not to mention childish dialogues, shorten story and amateur directing. Directors and producers probably couldn't decide will this be for children or for adults. The whole show looks like some generic wanna-be Hbo production. Although Hbo also sometime produces lousy boring shows, this is worser. A big, big disappointment for me. I loved playing Witcher on pc, but this is so far from it. Don't waste your time.

Lola Pater (2017)

Another boring French drama
1 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Man who wants to be a woman, played by a woman?? Why? Maybe because it is easier for common people to accept transexualism. In fact, in real life, most of that people look really unnatural and not well (imho). So for viewers to accept it - a beautiful woman. But this movie is good at one thing: showing psychological doubts and transexual gender confusion, really well. At first it is interesting, but in the end it is another slow paced drama in classic French style, politicaly correct about universal love (no matter who you are) with not so interesting story. Only interesting in this drama is headline itself. About father (pater) who wants to be mother Lola. And that's it.

Magnificent episode about doubts, crysis and redemption by faith
24 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
It was very stressful and touchy to watch the last scene of this episode. It is just incredible that someone has made such a scene today, touching, sincere, and full of faith - today when it is strange to see the cross in a scene, let alone grown men knock with tears in front of him, under crucified Jesus Christ. Today most shows mock and spit on Christianity, most of them openly hate Christians. But this series show us something different, something what today is almost a blasphemy - faith in hope and goodness, Jesus Christ.

One of the worst sequels ever
6 January 2018
This is actually not a sequel of Blade Runner, this is just a boring streched story about androids ("replicants") packed into something that was supposed to copy the visuals and the atmosphere of the first movie. But director Denis Villeneuve is not at the level of a Ridley Scott, he is far away from his league and it is visible in every shot. Nor a script is worth mentioning because the whole story of this movie can be summarized in just half an hour of normal video. Everything is predictable, boring and deliberately slowed down to the maximum, as if the director made this for himself and not the wide audience. Compared to this misery, the first Blade Runner is a masterpiece in which Harrison Ford (opposed to a rather unconvincing, pretentious Gosling) carries a film that still looks like a superb artwork with unmistakable atmosphere, scene and music, linked to an interesting story. So I'm pretty disappointed with this movie because I really did expect a much, much more. Gave it 4 stars just because of old Ford and that famous title. But this should be called "Bored to the death". Wish I didn't spent that 2 and half hours watching this.

Discover the disaster
21 November 2017
It's sad to watch what Star Trek turned into. A lot of great computer effects, but from the inside - a poor, poor story that was more suitable for some of the countless faceless Netflix nonsense with superheroes. A female protagonist who responds to the male name Michael, grotesque crew, antipathic homosexuals, ugly and comic ridiculous Klingons who doesn't look like they do through 50 years so far, gayish hairstyles from 2017 into 2350 (LOL!) and a completely artificial and uninteresting environment including the ship... all this is the new Star Trek. Even the music background is inadequate, inappropriate. All together, yeah, this is another netflix b.s. for young antifas and other queery geeks. I liked all the Star Trek so far, even movies (a bit less) but this is saliva in the face of all the real Trekkies. Hope this gonna be the first and the last season of this show for stupid Netflix company.

Disappointed: When Antifa writes screenplays
12 October 2017
This show is clearly political, libtard/leftard BS. Clear example, s03e08: Although killed Madison's husband and Alicia's step-father, although poisoned and killed people with anthrax (!), although his ancestors were murderers and thieves, Walker is still presented as stereotypical good, clever Indian. White people, especially those proud of their nation are presented, of course, as blood-hungry idiots, and that is that - antifa - political "correctness" behind this generally poorly written screenplay. Gays are always OK, especially if they are black and Indians are profoundly peaceful while whites, especially patriots, are monsters and lunatics. That is Hollywood agenda for incoming years. Personally, knowing what monsters and hypocrites rule the LA, I am not surprised, I am just disappointed how politics and awful, stupid libtard correctness infiltrate in all western media and destroy art. Only nice in this show is a beautiful Alycia's face - is she from this planet?

Dull, stupid, losing of time and space
2 October 2017
I was expecting a lot more of this series, though Seth is not a quality actor, and the name of the show is not attractive either. Dozens of boring, empty sentences; bad parody of the old Star Trek, with no ideas and stupid toilet humor. The dialogues are repetitive and the humor is at the level of idiotic film "Ted". Mainly, all that is good of this series is an association with the good old Star Trek, and everything else is for forgetting, especially the desperate dull screenplay. I still can not believe what stupid shows are produced in America, and that somebody has even gave money to shoot this stupidity. Tip: If your IQ is larger than 50, you can look at anything else - even the simplest advertising is more interesting and intelligent than this nus-product. Thumbs down!

Another boring HBO's show
7 October 2016
Warning: Spoilers
In this series HBO has obviously invested a lot of money. Everything is at the level but the very essence of the series, the script is very predictable, especially for those who were watched the same-name movie from 1973 (with Yul Brynner and James Brolin). And especially, even more for those who watched Kubrick-Spielberg's "AI" everything is clear. Of course, this version has been modernized and adapted to today's era, and now we have dialogues as if written by some dumb American teenager for dumb American teenagers (every other word is f*ck and many sentences are just shallow and obsolete), plus nice modern CGI effects. What is obviously important to HBO, and especially to the Hollywood, is constantly emphasizing that there is no God and that all is just evolution. I'm not getting to the core of the issue, but I must mention it because it is frequent occurrence in all modern films - the main characters are always atheists or non-believers, and the theory of evolution has never, absolutely never called into question!

Therefore, it is easier to let all to computers so you would not ask unnecessary questions like "Where we come from, where we are going and why are we here"? What is our consciousness? We have no idea, but we will put it to the hard-drive and we will happily live forever.

Stupid English film for stupid American fans made by smart Cohen
3 June 2016
I do not know what to say about this, is it even a movie. After a desperate, shameful, disgusting and stupid Bad Grandpa we got a movie that was just won in all those categories. This is even more disgusting, stupid, shameful ... in short: a miserable attempt to series of frenetic and stupid scenes with penises and butts call film. I do not know how famous actors do agree to shoot one such garbage? Money? Not knowing what they're filming? They have no role in the recently so agree to act in such moronic, infantile projects? Either way, I am really embarrassed to say that I watched this movie. I will not enumerate the scenes where I felt like vomiting. I do not know why Jewish actor and director Sacha Baron Cohen, after a very good Borat and The Dictator, needed this. Down to the level of a nasty toilet-humor for dumb people? My concern is that more and more young Americans watch this gross movies. I am sorry for them but now I am certain why bad and stupid people like Trump or Hillary are the main candidates for president of such USA.

Dirty Grandpa (2016)

On their language: Totally crap for idiots
10 May 2016
This is yet another miserable movie that would like to be a comedy, but this comedy was missing the most important thing - the intellect. All jokes in recent American so-called comedies are based on nudity, sex, vulgarity, perversions and drugs (Hangover, Ted etc.). But, while there are intelligent and provocative comedies (I can not remember any American in the last 10 years), this is not one of them. I'm sorry to see big star like De Niro smearing his good name in the garbage like this. The film "Dirty Grandpa" is simply - moronic. Even that is an insult for jerks because this can watch only critics who must and/or totally deranged people. The last: the scene in which a child bites stuffed animal on Zac Efron's penis is so moronic, disturbed and illegal that deserves immediate ban and jail for the director, producer and screenwriter. And one question: Why parents allowed them to do it with their child? Sale kid for money? Yuck. Generally - and without that dumb scene this movie is totally moronic disaster. Unfunny.
