NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE ME...
6 November 2020
...just how little English contestants know about the history of their own country. Program after program their lack of knowledge is astounding. Example, King Canute came to the throne in 1018..was her from Russia, Spain or Denmark. She thought it sounded Spanish but guessed the correct answer, Denmark. An embarrassment to the state of general knowledge in the UK...BTW...I'm Australian

COMPLETE RUBBISH
16 June 2020
While Season 1 and 2 were watchable, Season 3 has sunk to an all time LOW. Ludicrous, far fetched storyline. I can't quite believe how Netflix would have commissioned and then approved this hopefully, final series. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME EVEN THINKING ABOUT BEING CAUGHT UP IN THIS TOTAL WASTE OF TIME

WANDA WE LOVE YA

I'm an Australian and have always loved her comedy and HER. I wish she would travel DownUnder to Sydney to entertain us all. This NETFLIX show is so clever and topical....Trumps tweets get crazier and crazier as each day goes by...surely it's time he saw a Physciatrist and gave the rest of the World a break forever from his childish rants.

MAGNIFICENT PIECE OF HONEST FILM MAKING
24 February 2020
I saw this marvellous film this evening at the Sydney Queer screen Mardi Gras Film Festival. From the first screen shots I was entranced in this not so run of the mill love story. The two male leads are electric in their performances and so convincing as their story unfolds. as is the supporting cast. The cinematography is totally engrossing letting us into a part of the world few tourists ( and Chileans ) get to experience. I would definitely see it again . Highly recommended. And introduced by a very talented and humble young Chilean man

WHAT A LOAD OF OLD RUBBISH!
13 January 2020
I tried to watch this tired old Agatha Christie piece of nonsense but found it so silly I had to fast forward through most of it. It's all been done to death before time and time again. Producers must be getting short of new ideas if they have to resort to rehashing more of this tripe. Enough already!

UTTER, PATHETIC RUBBISH.
26 November 2019
Daniel Craig and Toni Collette must be laughing all the way to the Bank. I saw this piece of rubbish tonight in Sydney with two friends. They both dozed off to sleep during this tedious nonsense. I can't believe some of the Actors putting their names to this. DON'T BOTHER !!

AUSTRALIAN RACISM AT ITS WORST
20 June 2019
Very hard to watch in places as this great Australian Athlete was vilified and booed over years at the hands of AFL Spectators and Dumb and Dumber ''Commentators'' like Eddie McGuire, Sam Newman and Andrew Bolt plus the likes of Miranda Devine from The Daily Telegraph. This 75 minute Doco should be shown at all schools and Sporting Clubs in Australia.

A lost opportunity
23 September 2017
Saw this film last night at the Sydney Queer Film Festival with 3 mates. We all found it rather disappointing as we'd all been on a Cruise Ship before and had a lot more fun than these poor devils seem to have experienced....the men that were chosen to showcase all had religious upbringings and while this is not itself a bad thing, it weighed too heavily on the course of the movie....the cinematography was excellent but overall that couldn't save the limp story-line

A load of pretentious rubbish
6 May 2017
Another French film that should/ could have been great. Stilted dialogue about Philosophy. And how come if the French [ who I love, their country, their culture, their history , their language etc ] generally always have English/American songs on their soundtrack when they are so pedantic about keeping the French language ''pure''.....I couldn't wait for it to finish [ as did my partner ]

Excellent all-round Aussie Production
7 June 2015
I was lucky enough to see this film today at the Sydney Film Festival....adapted from Henrik Ibsens late 19th century play ''The Wild Duck'' but totally rewritten and retold into a modern Australian story set, maybe in the logging areas of Tasmania but actually filmed around the very atmospheric Snowy Mountain towns of Tumut and Batlow. The acting is superb, particularly the wonderful Ewen Leslie who just gets more magnificent in each role he takes on...Script and cinematography add to the overall brilliance of this terrific Jan Chapman production....a must see for all lovers of great Aussie films both here and overseas...I cant wait to see it again on its general release
