Hudson & Rex: Dog Days Are Over (2022)
Heading for disaster
Really dislike the love affair being cultivated by the writers.. This is not a Harlequin Romance novel, and Sarah and Charlie are not a believable couple.. The seniors I have coffee with every morning agree that this is a mistake, even the ladies who frequently watch the W channel... You will lose 5 faithful viewers should you pursue such foolishness.......!
Slumber Party Massacre (2021)
More chick flick dribble..
Haven't seen anything this bad since Cop Rock.. It was rated as Adult Only but should have been Fools Only. A new low among all the new chick flicks being made nowadays..
FBI: International: The Soul of Chess (2021)
Might have to change genres..
Pretty good story until Kellett overpowers her would be assassin in the church.. Anymore foolishness like that and this show may have to change its genre to science fiction.. Quit pandering to the age-of-estrogen and try to make it real..
Spiral: From the Book of Saw (2021)
Just what the doctor ordered..
Nowadays we are bombarded with chick flicks, Christmas movies, PC crap and gay love scenes, so I really enjoyed seeing a little murder and mayhem. Also it was great to see male actors playing the lead roles, and as a surprising bonus, the guys were tougher than the girls. Who'd a thunk it..! This was a refreshing change from the woke doodoo that being forced on us these days.. Thanks..!
The Closer: Good Housekeeping (2005)
What goes around -
Damned good episode, justice is served.. The ending is such a good/bad thing, the good being the creep is caught & punished, the bad - the bleeding heart attitude adopted by Brenda by caring what happens to the little a-hole cause he's going to a Mexican prison. Sometimes you get what you deserve, so don't worry about it..
Law & Order: Organized Crime (2021)
A forced protocol
Same thing over and over - an experienced cop with a far less experienced boss, usually female (the new protocol) & with a poor command presence. This scenario is very tiring and verging on science fiction.. The damned LGBTQ thing does nothing for the show except pander to that community. Really liked Stabler, but his boss ruins the show for me. Bye..!
Chicago P.D.: The Right Thing (2021)
That's it....!
After the Shay soap opera, we wondered how long it would take before this show deteriorated into a LGBTQ platform, seems it happened on this episode. Now that this show has gone woke, it's gone....! Damn...!
FBI: Most Wanted: Winner (2021)
Not a comedy
Really thought the little bounty hunter (Amy Carlson) was meant to be funny, not dumb. Kicking in the motel door was just absurd. Even worse - the plain clothes cop pulled out his gun while standing close to Travis Russel, poor writing. Couldn't watch the rest...
Terrible episode. Less of a fan now.
Holey Moley (2019)
Too fake - too scripted
The stunts appear staged, the banter between the hosts is poorly scripted and poorly delivered, plus, most of this show is way over-the-top.. This is almost as bad as Wipeout.. MXC was funny, with good comedic timing and great footage of an old Japanese show..
FBI: Most Wanted: Anonymous (2021)
Not the best episode
Out of the 5 main characters, why focus on Barnes' love life.? This direction adds nothing to any investigation, arrest or shootout, you know, the good parts of an action drama. On social media it seems the general public is not happy with the influx of gay love scenes. Most agree that it's counterproductive.
FBI: Hard Decisions (2020)
Old time shoot out
The shoot out against the bank robbers was like watching old time TV where only the heroes can hit their targets.. SWAT trains, and is equipped for those situations, so please, let's not get stupid.. I've been a staunch fan since episode 3 when Maggie actually lost a fight against a tough guy. It's obvious that's against the protocol of most shows, but it was believable. Thanks for the entertainment - please don't stray..!
FBI: Never Trust a Stranger (2020)
Not up to par..!
This is the poorest episode I've seen, and I've seen them all. I didn't care for the anti white political theme and I'm ticked that Ebonee Noel was replaced. She played her part well and looked good doing it (may have been the problem). Scola's new partner is written in as street smart, but comes across as ridiculous. Nevertheless, I will remain a fan until the politics too becomes prevalent..
Chicago P.D.: Buried Secrets (2020)
Keeps you guessing
A damn good episode that keeps the viewer guessing.. Regular guys appreciate this show 'cause it keeps a touch of reality present.. There was a faux pas close to the end when the female cop used the door ram and was obviously uncomfortable with the weight and momentum.. Usually this show is more logical than that.. Still, it's one of very few that hasn't gone flaky or feminine..
Transplant (2020)
Refreshing and unpredictable.
Good acting, good story line and different from the usual medical dramas. It's refreshing that the hospital is not populated by models and brainiacs. Got my old timers coffee group to give it a try - they like it.. As long as the guys don't start necking, we will remain fans..
Hudson & Rex (2019)
Old fashioned and entertaining
Just started watching and really like it.. BUT, since H & R is Canadian, I'm amazed that the star is male, tall, straight and not unattractive. Considering the new protocols for creating TV shows, doubt it will last.. Also, people who complain about the lack of traditional accents on this show are hypocrites, because they also complain about pigeonholing, "Newfies" when they appear on other shows using that accent. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Anyway, good luck to H & R and thanks for not offending the majority.
Bull: Flesh and Blood (2020)
Continued improvement
I noticed that Vivian Cahill, (the defendant) did not pick up the murder weapon upon finding the victim - how refreshingly different.. That scenario was really getting old.. Nice to see the writers expand Chunk's character and give him a descent speaking role.. Also, really appreciate letting Chunk act like a normal ex-football player rather than the way he was originally introduced..
Coroner (2019)
It's getting old, fast.
Had high hopes for this CDN drama but found nothing when compared to many other shows about coroners. However, it did have guys making out with each other, which was different and the main reason I quit watching..
Nurses (2020)
Enjoyed it, until Episode 4
Not very realistic , but entertaining.. Many characters have promise and interesting personalities.. Might have been a fan but I'm too old fashioned to watch same sex stuff....!
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Zero Tolerance (2018)
PC twits
Used to love this show but now I only watch pre 2016 episodes. Seems Mariska has gone over to the dark side with De Niro..
Deputy (2020)
Has possibilities, but -
This drama is based in California so the PC culture, the LGBTQ protocol and the leftist attitude will probably ruin it.. Too bad, looked like it could have been decent.. Will try one more episode..
The Rookie: Breaking Point (2019)
From fan to, "Damn",,,!
I was a big fan until I watched most of the Breaking Point episode.. I did make it 75% of the way through, then quickly hit the recall button and will never watch The Rookie again..
Batwoman (2019)
Batwoman 2019 vs Batman 1966
More humerous than the original Batman, and less realistic.. This thing was probably made to pander to the LGBTQ community..
Eat, Play, Love (2017)
Still like Lee Majors
Thought I would give this little story a try because of Lee Majors, whom I really liked as The Six Million Dollar Man. I soon noticed that this movie was much like so many being made nowadays - a little eye candy for the ladies, none for
the guys.. Changed stations...!
The Rookie (2018)
So far, so good..!
Different, fun and better than I thought it would be, so I really hope they stay away from political correctness, especially during emergency situations. Will remain a fan until the first gay love scene, then goodbye -
Emma Fielding Mysteries: Site Unseen (2017)
Totally clued out writers
I watched this thing until the star accused a fellow of murder, alone.. Apparently this is an educated person, so the stupidity of her action went beyond any semblance of reality and the entertainment factor went right out the window.. Horrible writing..! Will not watch another E. F. Mystery..
