Human or Terminator ?

I have just finished binge watching this series.

On the whole very enjoyable but I have to mark it down on some of the action sequences.

At one point reacher get heavily struck across the side of the face with a crow bar, enough to knock him out, a few scenes later he his on his mobile phone without a mark to be seen on his face ?

Also at one point he gets stabbed and afterwards just seemingly carries on as normal with no hospital treatment.

I hope in future series they get a little bit more realistic on the action scenes as some of them were stretching it a bit.

After all he is human not a terminator.

Gotti (2018)

Not a bad movie

Watched this film today and whilst it is not the best it also certainly not the worst.

Something very odd going on with the reviews of this film. (google it). Maybe it's rival movie companies getting involved I don't know. Leave that to the conspiracy theorists.

The film never has the character and story telling like Goodfella's but that is probably an unfair comparison.

It makes a decent attempt at telling the story but fails to reach great height's, having said that it is NOT the terrible film that some seem to claim and I don't regret the time watching it.

Alcatraz (2018)

Why didn't they tell the true story

I made the mistake of reading about the battle of Alcatraz before viewing this film.

When you read the true facts there is clearly a story there to make a really good film depicting the real events.

Why then "hollywood" as it often does departs from true events and changes the facts baffles me as ever.

If you view the film without knowing the true story you may find it more enjoyable and rate it a bit higher.

And as for the last 5 minutes of this film, it is absolute drivel, they should have edited it out !

Two and a Half Men (2003–2015)

Truly truly dreadful canned laughter

How did this get the votes it did ?? Canned laughter at it's worst for unfunny drivel.

I can only assume some people switch their brains of when they turn on their TV remotes !

So I have to add a few more lines well here is a few.

If your thinking of watching this then do something else like watching your grass grow.

You will get more amusement !

Shot Caller (2017)

Far Fetched ?

So someone jumps a red light accidentally and causes a fatality. OK Is sentenced to 16 months after some plea bargaining. OK

But then ends up in a very violent maximum security prison and ends up joining a gang and committing murders on behalf of that gang ???

Sorry but that's where the story line just got a bit to much for me. If you can suspend reality for a moment maybe you can enjoy this film like some of the other reviewers but the basic concept spoiled it for me.

Maybe if the character was a misguided criminal or something it would have been more believable.
