Look Both Ways (2022)
The films promo can be summed up to "you're gonna be ok no matter what" but instead it delivers as "look at this girl have it all no matter what"
Although the heart of the film is in the right place it loses its grip on reality ruining what could have been a great film for the newer generations.
Girl gets pregnant as a teen and we see what her life is and what "could have been" .
I expected a bittersweet film where she finds happiness in what she has and makes peace with what was lost in both lives.
Instead we see her live a fairy tail and get it all both ways. Good for her i guess.
This one thing changes the tone of the film from "youre gonna be ok cause she also was" to "look at her. Bet you wish you were as lucky as her".
Although it was entertaining it was also incredibly superficial and forgettable.
Robert Reborn (2019)
Its absurd that people pay to produce these movies.
Watching this makes you really wonder what youre doing with your life when people can just write down absolutely anything and receive budget for a film.
Giving it a 2 cause ive seen worse.
Paradise Hills (2019)
Could have been better
The story is good and the cast is good, but the movie is just dragging on and on and on.
Just watch a summary of the film on youtube and you wont miss a thing.
Love Hard (2021)
An above average sweet christmass movie.
The story is interesting throughout and the sittuations often quite hilarious. All in all its a good movie with good actors and a fun plot.
Unfortunately the two main leads have 0 chemistry between them. Especially the male one who only really shows a semblance of emotion at one single scene.
Bonnie & Clyde (2013)
Very promising, better than expected.
I saw the pilot episode of Bonnie and Clyde on the 1st day of its release, with the lowest expectations possible. If i had anything else to watch at the time, i probably would have, but i didn't, so i decided to give it a shot.
Before i start i will admit that i never really liked the Bonnie and Clyde story. I'm a sucker when it comes to action packed romance, but i knew before hand that Bonnie was a bit of a... well lets just say she wasn't a very likable person.
The Pilot episode starts slow and builds up as it goes. It did get boring a couple times, but not enough to make me stop watching. The acting was very good from pretty much every character and that's a big plus. Emile Hirsch plays a very good Clyde and Holliday Grainger truly steals the show as Bonnie. Sure shes not blonde or have the bitchy attitude, but its better that way.
I can tell that the series is gonna make it so that Bonnie is the main character with Clyde just being her partner. Its weird because we see the story from Clyde's narrative and we even get a glimpse on his childhood, yet his character is completely overshadowed by Bonnie.
All in all i can tell its gonna be a good series. Very good acting and directing, the script writers could try to make Clyde a bit more likable, seriously its the first episode and shes already dragging him by the nose. You will not regret watching this however.
