The Wonderful World of Disney: Switching Goals (1999)
Which is the real loser, me or the film?
I finally saw this movie for the first time today. I must say I found the actual film itself was rather lack-luster, and I agree with some people here about having to fast forward through some parts because it gets a little boring at times. Don't get me wrong, there were some comical and amusing moments through out the movie from time to time, but nothing really spectacular. However, I must saying, that Kathy Greenwood absolutely shined in this movie. She did an excellent job playing mother to the Olsen twins' Sam and Emma. It makes me wish that more people would offer Kathy bigger roles in movies more often.
So I ask you, which is the real loser, me or the film? *shrugs*
Whose Line Is It Anyway? (1998)
Awesome show, too bad I got hooked on it during the final season...
This show is so awesome. A few months ago, I was too lazy to change the channel, when Whose Line came on. The first scene I remember seeing was a "Party Quirks" game, where Colin Mochrie's quirk was suspecting the other's aren't the sex they really are. That was hilarious, and I have never laughed so hard! After that, I became hooked. It wasn't that long ago when I saw Wayne Brady guest star on Sesame Street, and I thought "who's that?". But now, Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles, and Drew Carey are household names for me! I also love the guests they have on, Brad Sherwood is being worn-out right now in reruns, but he's still funny. Greg Proops is ALWAYS unpredictable, in a predictable way. Chip Esten is also very funny, and a great singer. Now here's where I sound like a broken record...what I am sick of is the way people are putting down Kathy Greenwood! I mean c'mon people! She's GOT talent, she just hasn't been allowed to really branch-out on the show. I KNOW she can do much more than just "Weird Newscasters", and "Scenes from a Hat", and specific others. I try to never miss an episode with Kathy Greenwood! I give this show 8.5/10!
