Squid Game: The Challenge (2023)
Squid games: the challenge
After reading various reviews, it's clear most who gave a poor rating didn't understand what this show was supposed to be.....as some others have mentioned, it is not the second season of the TV show..(That will still be coming next year.) This is just a game show based off of it.
The set design is decent and the new game created just for this show is entertaining. Having said that, some of the conestanst are pretty annoying, and it pulls a smile on your face when they do get eliminated (not a spoiler...there can only be one winner..) and some of the editing is just plain bad. But overall I had a good time watching it so far.
Assassin Club (2023)
Why?
This film is like the friend who's constantly trying to hit on someone, but always ends up coming up short.
Acting was bland, and at times, felt like many of the cast really didn't care to be there. The story and more accurately the writing was just awful.
After the first act I so wanted to stop watching, but I endured, and reluctantly kept going.
Shows me that Golding is not capable enough as a leading man, and the idea of him being the future 007 should be taken out of the conversations.
I almost feel bad for Sam Neill being in this movie.
Just my opinion, if you did enjoy it, good on you.
Resident Evil (2022)
Another RE mistake.
Even if you take the 'Resident Evil' out if the title, and view it as just a typical 'zombie show' It's still terrible!
But this is Resident Evil, so I will say, (as bad as they were) this show will really make u miss the Mila Jovovich movies!
The story and writing is terrible, the acting is poor, even the great Lance Reddik could not save this mess, and the music is all over the place.
I will however give props to the monster department, some actually looked decent.
If you are a fan of Resident Evil, I am quite sure you will not enjoy this show, so I would say avoid it if you can.
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021)
Resident Feeble
Who would imagine an unnecessary reboot from an already terrible franchise (the movies not the games) could be worse than its predecessor. ( IMO the first RE movie with Mila was not great but at least partly enjoyable)
The cast is terrible, the script is awful. I will however give little credit to the CGI, that wasn't completely bad.
I am a big fan of most of the RE games and this time they tried to stick a little closer to the them, but in the end, it just didn't work out.
I hope there will be no direct sequel, but I'm sure it will b coming....
Masters of the Universe: Revelation (2021)
He-Man-less
+ animation and voice casting top class
- writing, story, everything else very poor.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019)
Ex-Men
Fox's final X-men film, though a step up from their previous outing Apocalypse, is still a disappointing film. The acting is decent, even if some loved characters are very miss underused. But the story is one big mess.
Troy: Fall of a City (2018)
The Fall of a Show
As someone who enjoys Ancient history (specially Greek), this show was just a pain to watch. While the set design is not too bad, the writing in this show is horrendous.
As for the casting, whoever the casting director is, should not be allowed to work again! I felt every single actor's performance was wooden and terrible. I could not care for any single character here.
It's a real shame, because i was really looking forward to this show. But don't waste your time. You will likely be disappointed. There are so many better shows to watch out there.
Bleach: Burîchu (2018)
Great movie
This is what happens when you adapt an anime/manga, and get it right! Takes a few liberties, but stays faithful to the source. In all i was pleasantly surprised. Was a very enjoyable movie and i hope there will be a squeal.
