Project Gotham Racing 3 (2005 Video Game)
PGR3 = Perfect Game Racer for the 360
25 March 2006
Project Gotham Racing is the next generation of racing. The game has a good life span and is very smooth and enjoyable, esp with your friends and a few beers The game never gets boring unless your not into racing games. The graphics are excellent, the game play is smooth and the controls are better than normal. You can play in almost any fast paced car on the road today with a variety from Aston Martin, Ford, Ferrari, Honda etc. The game has many levels and the CPU's can make the game easy-hard for challenging duels.

The online play is excellent esp with a head-set, which makes it more exciting and you can meet new people to race, after a few races you become a master on PGR3 online. The only problem with online is awaiting other people to join in a decent game.

The game is worth the full £40.

Don't Pick Up Strangers
19 November 2005
This is an Excellent Thriller!! all the way through.

Jim Halsey (Thomas C. Howell) is transporting another car to cali, when he picks up a Hitcher along the way, the mistake of his life. At first the Hitcher seems like your average traveller with a cold, his name is John Ryder. After a few scares in the car Jim asks John to get out, but that is only giving John the upper hand of the game, John has plans for Jim. John tells Jim he's going to cut off his arms, legs and head as he done to the previous guy, but first Jim has got too say four word "I-want-to-die" after Jim pushes John out the car, he thinks he's safe, but cat and mouse has just started.

The acting is great and polished, the plot is original, and Rugter Hauers Prefromance as the Hitcher is Excellent, Scary and slick. from great settings and action holes this is a top thriller from the later 80's, The eerie music keeps you on the end of your seat.

10/10 FANTASTIC!

Friday is just the start.....
21 June 2005
Chris Tucker and Ice Cube what more do you want for a Movie like this!? This movie was funny, bright and original. theirs not a point in the movie where it goes dull or boring.

Its starts off when Craig (Cube) wakes up on a Friday morning with his friend Smokey (Tucker) outside of his house for only Smokey to find out Craig got fired on his day off, Smokey tries helping Craig feel better by Rolling him Joints and drinking beer, Craig doesn't touch weed, until Smokey forces him to, they both end up getting high, Along comes Big Worm, the man that gives Smokey the weed to sell, only for Smokey to smoke, later on Big Worm finds out Smokey doesn't have the cash to cough up so Big Worm gives Smokey a deadline warning, or a drive-by. Craig has nothing to do with it, but nothing matters no more.

Through out the movie comes local bully's, Stupid Neighbours, dumb friends, Early 90's rap music, drive-by's, Horney midgets, fights and Craig & Smokey. A lot can go down between Thursday and Saturday!

Commando (1985)

Now this is what Rambo should be
21 May 2005
This is one of the most brainless action movies of the 80's, But neverless a great movie because it has everything other action movies don't such as humour and one-liners for a start, and the lead role of John Martix is played by Arnold, and when you place him in the centre of a movie like this, it makes Rambo look like a cookie girl with a 9mm semi-auto. The Acting is unique because of the villain Bennett (Wells) is so intent of being the better man with his acting being superb.

The movie starts out with Cooke (Bill Duke) killing off random people in the first 5 minutes, later to be John Matrix's (Arnie) ex Commando friends. Matrix and his daughter (Milano) are living out a normal life in the forest near a small village, within minutes of a normal morning Martix's life is turned upside down and inside out when the only thing worth living for is kidnapped, his daughter. Matrix has no choice but to co-operate with a South American dictator (Heyada) to kill a president, if he co-operates, he will save his daughter from death, if he doesn't she will be chopped up and sent to him in the mail. But what they didn't know is that Matrix has a third choice, Go Commando! and kill every person involved and save his daughter.

What really made this movie special for me is when Matrix puts on is army uniform and stocks up with his weapons on the island and stands their like he is king of the world, it sent shivers up my spine.

With great one-liners, humour, action, and plot, this is an all round great action flick.

The story of "One punch killer man"
27 April 2005
This is a B-movie classic, i was expecting this to be a poor movie, with poor acting, poor humour, and poor gore scenes, i was totally WRONG! This movie has great humour and gore scenes and the acting is not too bad. This tells the story of Ricky, a man who is sent to jail for manslaughter after he found out his girlfriend had jumped off a building, Ricky has superhuman strenght and has bullets jammed in his organs after being shot off the man who caused Ricky's girlfriend to jump, he keeps the bullets as souvenir's. When Ricky arrives at the prison the guards treat him as normal until Ricky see's a helpless old man being bullied, and Ricky reacts to the bully by tripping him up on a spike and causing the bully to go blind, from their Ricky meets the assistant warden, the warden tells Ricky about the gang for four and how the prison is being runned, Ricky is constantly tortured and beat up but Ricky doesn't stand down, taking his one punch killing moves, the cell mates look up to Ricky as their hope of escaping the prison, can Ricky kill all of the gang of four and stop the warden? well he does, and while Ricky uses his "punching through belly's, neck and head moves" the gore really starts.

This movie has been rated more gore than "Braindead" and it is no-where near as gory as braindead!! 7/10 - Kick ass movie!

This should of stayed in out-world
27 April 2005
This movie is not Mortal Kombat 1 in anyway at all, i will start with the good bits.

Fair enough they tried adding most of the characters from the MK series which is understandable, and their were fight scenes every 4 minutes which kept me entertained for a bit.

The bad bits about this movie was everything that weren't in the good, like Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage and Raiden were played by different people, first off Sonya was a mean tough bas ass in the last movie, in this she is a bit girly, and for Johnny Cage the poor guy takes off his shades and gets his neck broken, and worst of all Raiden, in the last movie raiden was a tough guy who can kick ass and be feared and has a sense of humour, in this he is a wimp, and gets thrown through a wall every 10 minutes, and he gets a hair cut (VERY STRANGE AND STUPID) 5/10 Because their was a scorpion V Sub Zero's brother fight

Creep (I) (2004)
7/10
This movie is much better than the creep looks!
9 April 2005
i really liked this movie, it's one of the best British horror's to come out in the cinema. i did not like the hole or 28 days later. the reason i liked this is because i jumped straight into action, their was gore, a decent plot, and cast that acted the movie out great.

The creep was ugly little boy when he was younger and spent his childhood and teen time in a hospital, then when he was mid-ages he escaped into London's underground subway to only live their and kill whoever is wandering around his hideout for food and fun. He is grotesque in every way, yes thats means his looks!

When Kate (Franka Potente) leaves a business party to try and meet George Clooney, her friend tells her the person she was meant to leave with has already left in a cab, in a hurry Kate rushes off to the subway only to drink the rest of her vodka, while she is waiting for the last train Kate falls asleep, from here Kate wakes up and all of a sudden a train appears before her eyes, when is boarding the train, in the background you can see another person run onto the train, could this be the creep? and from here the movie turns into a chase of survival.

Overall

Plot: 9/10 Gore: 8/10

Thats all the film need really because British acting isn't the best these days, but a really good effort for a good movie 7/10

This Cut right through me
7 April 2005
This film is a cult classic and one of the best "inspired by a true story" movies ever, because you have to look at it closely. in the early 70's five teenagers were killed in Texas, by a deformed child like man named "Leatherface" along with his sick and disturbed family. When the teens are introduced in the van, their are two females and three males, and one of the males is in a wheelchair, now in real life imagine what these teens when through, especially the teen in the wheelchair, being hacked to death by a chainsaw "very painful as you can tell" and discovering they aren't the only victims as the film comes to an end. you have to feel sorry for them, even though they are "your typical teens" this film touched me because every time something happened in the movie, i kept thinking what really happened to them in real life! and when something did happen it saw shocking. On the remake's website of the Texas chainsaw massacre it makes you want to cry in a way. www.texaschainsawmovie.com check it out, it will give you an idea of what happened! But these two similar stories are a excellent idea of what happened, and the movies both original and remake are classics!

Years do go by
7 April 2005
i was about 10 years old when i first saw this movie, and to be a kid at that age i thought this movie was great, but i cannot remember much about this movie, except that their was a dark blue android after a body builder woman i think her name was Alex. But i thought it was a good movie and i would like to see it again sometime, i have only seen the movie once and really enjoyed it, i watched it with my older sister at the time and their were a few good moments like where the dark blue thing "Nemesis" i take it was running after Alex and no matter what Alex did "Nemesis" could not be stopped - really cool!. But some people have put this movie on a down why!? give it a chance, but then again i could be very very wrong since as a child these movies seem unstoppable. if anyone has got this movie id love to know please contact me. and i have tried E-Bay, but no luck :(

Halloween (1978)

Halloween says it all
6 April 2005
Excellent. This is the original slasher every movie try's to be or copy. This is the best serial killer movie i have seen for years for a film that was made in 1978. The cast is brilliant and the plot blows the movie away, i wish they made more of these kind of movies. Michael Myers is the killer who is out to kill Jamie Lee Curtis who plays Laurie Strode, Michaels sister. The thing that really got to me in this movie is Michaels character, he is so stealthy and creepy its brilliant, and he wears a pale white mask, which is deeply creepy. Donald Pleasence is great at playing Dr. Loomis Michael's doctor, and i loved the part where Dr. Loomis refers Michael to something else rather than a human, totally blew me away. this is a must see slasher!!
