Asians in suits, they all look the same
7 February 2021
I like Asian people, don't get me wrong, but a bunch of Chinese guys in thermal suits really look the same... To make things worse, they are a legion so you never know who's who and what are they doing or where are them at any point in the movie. Everything they do makes no sense, is futile and doesn't work so it's not important to know what they are doing, anyway. Then there are the rage/pain/sadness Chinese screams that make even less sense in any context. They are really good at special effects, probably the movie was shot at the directors back yard but you'll never notice. The movie is too long and boring, full of drama that makes no sense and long complicated sequences that could have been cut out.

If only the acting was bad, or the story, or the way of telling it...

Or the fight scenes which are bland, short, simple and boring. Yeah, you can get some entertainment, you get like three minutes of it total around the entire flick... Not worth it at all. The final battle lasts about a minute. Draw your conclusions.

No story
17 December 2020
The entire movie has no story whatsoever. The action is bad, the effects are worse. Don't watch. Nothing makes sense at all.

It's worst than the reviews here

No review can tell you how bad it is. Bad acting, bad story, bad effects, bad remake, boring, predictable, pointless. If you really wanna watch this... Go out, do something else until it goes away, really.

They forgot what the movie is about
18 December 2017
Stasis seems to be some rare phenomena in which the director forgets what the movie was about, halfway into the movie. This phenomena is perfectly documented on the self titled movie.

The movie was about some people traveling back in time to save the world from a nuclear war or something apocalyptic and one third into the movie it goes into exploring the story of a 15 years old girl and her dysfunctional mother. The movie ends when the girl and her mother fix their relationship... Oh yeah, they had to save the world! That's for a sequel, nothing about that in this movie (sic).

Lots of crappy acting, full of cliches and an hour and a half lost watching this awaits you.
