Should have been at least 2 seasons for their story line

This show seems to just speed along in order to cram everything into 12 episodes. There was no real character development at all, and no real struggle. One character goes from being a bullied, shy and quiet girl to seemingly endless confidence and quite talkative in literally like 10 minutes. Everything is so forced that it takes away from any semblance of a story. Battles and fights are over as soon as they started and makes you wonder why they even bothered to include them in the first place. The last few episodes were just so random with the plot line, and it leaves way more questions than answers.

This is a very depressing, but heart wrenching episode. It makes you wish the technology shown in this show actually existed in real life. I hope it does someday.

I wish way more anime would have a nice and wrapped up ending like this show did! The pacing and story telling were just phenomenal. It didn't feel rushed, nor did it feel like there was a bunch of filler, and of course my favorite part of the plot is they actually wrapped everything up in the 12 episodes. I hate when animes leave so much on the table, thinking they'll get to do another season and then that day never comes. I was not expecting this show to be this damn good, but I was pleasantly surprised.

More often than not I find myself usually like shows more than most people, but this is certainly an exception. Ibgavr it more than a fair chance and watched the entire 1st season. Now I don't mind when a show doesn't have a continuing plot for the most part and you can watch the episodes in no particular order, it's not my favorite type of show usually. But this show can't even finish the plot of a single episode with the exception of like 1 or 2! You won't get any kind of conclusion, the show will just end. This annoys the hell out of me and it is just poor and ridiculously lazy writing. Maybe I could bear it if the episodes were really funny and made me forget what was even happening.....but suffice to say that didn't happen even once. So yeah, barely funny and uses the "main character is too stupid for his own good, except when he randomly isn't" cliche I also can't figure how anybody in their right mind could compare this to Cowboy Bebop. With the exception they are both bounty hunter in space, they aren't remotely similar. Not to mention the fact that Cowboy Bebop is actually GOOD (amazing actually, and why I happened to rewatch it again just a few weeks ago) If you don't like it after the first 2 episodes, then don't bothering continuing. Trust me, it doesn't get any better.

High School DxD (2012–2018)

This show is like nothing else out there!!!!

Normally when I'm watching a movie or TV show and a sex scene or love interest part comes up I usually just fast forward through it because I don't care. But this show is completely different. Although I am a 31 year old male who up until now hasn't watched much anime before. But this show had me giggling like a 12 year old girl and I just could not wait to start the next episode!! The character development is spot on and perfectly well paced. There is quite a bit of comedy, a lot of swearing and A TON of nudity and perversion. Yes this show is like 95% fan service, but it also has a great story that just keeps pulling you in.

Maybe I will think differently about this show once I wait a while and rewatch it now that I've gotten almost a years worth of watching anime nearly all day every day and I have seen a multitude of different shows over a 3 decade span.

But, I doubt it. This show is just too awesome for me to ever talk ill about it. If you're wondering if you should start this series or not, the answer you're looking for is yes! You most definitely should. Don't forget also that there are 4 seasons currently and a 5th should be underway (delayed like many other shows thanks to Covid)

P.s. You probably shouldn't watch this with your parents, nor should you watch it with young children present. This is definitely adults only!!

The show was ok to watch to kill some time, but it doesn't really have any sort of plot what so ever. The first 15ish episodes just jump all over the place, then after that the demon and god princesses aren't even in like 5 episodes and then the show decides to start to have a story that goes episode to episode for like the last 6 episodes. All to finish with the main "plot" of the show not really being that relevant. Several times I was planning on watching something else but I got lazy and just decided to tough it out. Although I was glad that this show at least had an ending, and they could carry it on if they ever wanted to.

Dragonar Academy (2014)

What more can I say besides I REALLY wish there were one or two more seasons so that they could wrap up the entire plot and show the rest of the partial story lines they hinted in the first season!

Found this at random and I must say I've thoroughly enjoyed it so far. I've been watching all the episodes back to back and only have 4 more to go 😔 , but it's been a nice break from the most common anime cliches in this category. Although I do wish there was more than one season, I must say I am very happy that this show has 45min episodes instead of the standard 22 min. So you are technically getting 2 seasons worth of watch time out of the one!

Naruto: Shippuden (2007–2017)

Awesome show, but way too many flashbacks.

If you are going to watch this show like I did and bunge watch Naruto on Netflix and then download all the English dubbed episodes of Naruto Shippuden and binge watch them, then you will get sick and tires of all the flashbacks. There are even certain episodes in which they pretty much re-run 90% of that entire episode in another episode. During the biggest fight of the series, they drag it on for a but too long. They even have a dozen or more episodes back to back that go off on such a tangent that you forget there a massive battle going on and just want them to get back to that.

Just be warned that you will probably be fast forwarding or even skipping a few episodes to avoid watching the same thing that you literally just saw a few episodes before.
