Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)
Great Movie only for the older individual!!!
It was a great movie as far as the action, but it did have some stuff that we could have done without. The dress code I would say would have to be one of them. I prefer women with more clothes on, a modest dress code would have made this movie a better one.
It was fun seeing the funny oddball actor Johnny Depp. This was the first movie I had ever seen him in, and the first time I had ever heard of him. He was a really fun character in this one. I loved his accent!!
My favorite line... "I can't breathe!" (splash!!) -Elizabeth Swan "you know he's only a blacksmith...No, he's a Pirate"
Great for the older individual! wouldn't recommend the younger (age 14 and under).
The Secret Garden (1999)
A timeless classic!!
At the beginning I really did not know what was happening but as the story progressed I found out little by little. It was kind of a mystery but as the movie went on I was able to put the pieces together. I thought it was quite good. Whoever liked the beautiful Black Beauty movie would like this one too. It was a timeless classic. Hope you enjoy it too!
At the beginning of the movie will be kind of hard for the younger generation to understand because so much happens all at once that you hardly know what is happening. Once Mary is riding in the coach with the stuffy old housekeeper they might catch on to what happened to Mary's parents. This movie is more for those of a more learned mind set. Those read a lot and enjoy mind movies. Movies where you have to think about what they are talking about. After all this is a British film they usually are hard to understand at first. I suggest that you watch the version with Margret O'Brian first so that you get the story or read the book, either gets you there. I hope this is helpful for you. I hope you enjoy this film.

The Inheritance (1997)
Great for the Whole Family!
The reason I voted a 9 out of ten is that there is one scene where younger children would probably not be allowed to watch. Shouldn't be allowed that is because a man is trying to persecute Edith but of course the dashing young lover rescues her from the evil villain. Like all happily ever after movies go. But this one is a must see. I mean there are a lot of good fairy tell-ish movies out there but seriously this is one of the best. I have only seen this once and I still rave about how good it was. I have been waiting for it to come out on DVD and finally I got my wish! yea! I am definitely going to get this one to add to my romantic series! Believe me if you liked Little Women and Little Men then you will love this even more!!! <>< Great Movie, Very exciting, Tear Jerker, and of course Romance! Got to love it.
