Silent Rage (1982)
7/10
possible cult classic here....
27 January 2008
I can see this movie being on a list along with "Rocky Horror Picture Show", "Animal House", any of the "Blade" movies and other cult classic movies. While if taken seriously, it's a very bad movie, but with tongue firmly in cheek, it's kind of funny. Norris is great, as always, in the fight scenes, while his acting in this 1982 movie has a long way to go before it can be called "good". This is a movie yo can watch with a bunch of guys and have a great time. The story can be followed and understood without too much thinking needed. There is no doubt who the bad guys are and who the good guys are in this movie. With a few beers and the right group of friends, this movie is a real party. Anyone who writes a bad review of this movie needs to find their sense of humor -- there are a few classic moments n this film that can be seen copied in many later movies. This movie does a lot more things right than wrong -- Norris should NEVER do love scenes. His fight scenes more tan make up fr the awful love scene, though.

Stargate SG-1: Fallen (2003)
Season 7, Episode 1
8/10
GREAT first of the season episode
3 November 2006
Warning: Spoilers
All I can think of as an excuse for writing shows like this, is that the actor wants more money, so the producers end the season, six in this case, in a way that makes it easy to just fire and replace said greedy actor.....that said, this is a VERY well written episode of a well established SiFi show. I am very happy the character "Jackson" was brought back from the dead, and continues as a main member of Star Gate One. It wouldn't be the same without him and his funny comments. Now if they can just get Col./Gen. Jack O'Neil on the show more often in more recent seasons....anyway, I digress; if you read this far you already know the show and all the sub-plots and story lines swirling through this episode. Lots of fun stuff going on here fans - a great way to start the new season, number seven....

A great movie, lots of fun!!!!

If you are looking for an accurate, historical account of the Dumas book, go see another, and more boring, movie. But if you need a little mindless entertainment, then this is a great movie. You can watch it with your entire family, no matter the ages. There are plenty of laughs, and enough drama to keep everyone invested in the movie until the credits roll. It is a lot of fun to watch, even with all the minor and funny mistakes. It shares almost nothing with the book, other than the names of the characters. You will not be one bit sorry to spend the time watching this movie -- it will let you forget your stressful life for a while, and have a little fun. Kids love it!!! Sheen is just like he is on Two and a Half Men, and Suterland is a lot like he is on 24. Funny how that worked out.....O'Donnal is TERRIBLE, but he is covered by the others, so it isn't too bad to put up with....

A truly great TV series; should have lasted longer.....
6 October 2005
We are surrounded by garbage. Look at what the TV industry tries to pass off as entertainment and I think you will agree. For every quality TV show produced there are several not worth watching. One of the gems was the "Young Indiana Jones" series. It was funny, somewhat educational, showed historical incidents from an interesting prospective, if not always accurate – one a younger viewer would enjoy enough to watch. It was very well written and touched on the facts laid out in the movies showing Indy as a middle aged Nazi fighter. In a one-hour show we were taken on a trip from today, to a time about 90 years ago, and back to today. It showed how an incident from this long ago as meaning in today's world. A life touched during WWI can make a huge difference in what happens today. A vacation taken with Teddy Roosevelt in 1906 can be tied t things happening today in a very interesting way. I would recommend this show for anyone – all ages will enjoy this show. For a TV show the production value was very good. The world shown was as correct as possible given today's limitations. The cars were right, the clothes were correct, and the locations were beautifully filmed. For a T show this is great entertainment.
