Is this show perfect, no it isn't. However, the show has tons of laughs. I've read a lot of these poor reviews and what I can see is that there are several soft mentality type folks writing these things. Calling this show racist and such is ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with teaching lessons and pointing out things that's wrong with our society. The thing is that those who have an issue just don't like the message. The stereotypes come up because they're learning about one another. This actually happens in real interactions with individuals from different communities and cultures. Get out of your feelings and actually watch the show and you'll see how their relationships progress.

Some of these reviews are ridiculous. One person called Uncle Clifford a transgender, he is not. Another person is saying that they're only portraying black folks as low life essentially, that's wrong. The mayor is black, there's a black lawyer, one of the strippers owns a dance school. The story is much more than just about a strip club.

It started off slowly, however as the season goes on the pace picks up. I know Kanan being an intelligent nice kid is throwing folks off, but I like how it is progressing. You slowly but surely see the transformation into who he will eventually become. Hang in there, it only gets better.

Awesome spinoff!!! The disdain I had for Tariq by the end of Power has turn into a cheering section as this season has progressed. I love the new characters sprinkled in with some of the old ones. But can someone please explain to me how Cooper Saxe has mad it this far? LOL
