Wynonna Earp (2016)
If you are looking for a show with Strong Female Characters..THIS IS IT!
*Spoilers*
This show is based on Beau Smith Ranch's Comic book series Wynonna Earp. Emily Andras has done a phenomenal job in bringing our beloved comic book bad-ass protagonist to life on television. Wynonna is brash, sassy, has rough edges, cant shoot a gun, has a dry sense of humor and she is funny without trying to be funny. She is a Hero without wanting to be a hero. She looks good riding a Harley and sending demons back to where they belong, while she is fighting her own inner demons in her home town of Purgatory. Waverly Earp is a firecracker in her own right. She is fresh and filled with life. I am beyond excited to see her character evolve and up hold itself without getting overshadowed by Wynonna. We might have a new ship on our hands with her and officer Haught played by Kat Barrell #WAYHOT. Love Agent Dolls! he is silent but deadly. If looks could kill....I am already dead. Badassery has a new name and it is Wynonna Earp!
Sex After Kids (2013)
What you see is what you get :) Edgy, romantic and instant comic relief
The storyline and plot were excellent and well written. Watching couples from all walks of life dealing with intimacy after having a child is fascinating and brings a realistic touch to life. The gay couple, a single mom, a single dad, empty nester's, couples from every end of the spectrum bring home this amazing tale of parenting and life after you have a child. Zoie palmer with an accent and Kris holden Reid with his geek out on High fructose corn syrup was adorable :) I loved the lovely sibling banter between Zoie and Paul. Its the evolution of relationships through the spectrum of couples that makes this movie a perfect date night movie. Thanks Jeremy Lalonde for creating this masterpiece.
