Unsolved History: San Francisco's Earthquake of 1906 (2003)
Robot Narrator
I am interested in this episode and I see it is highly rated, however the narration makes this almost unwatchable. I was practically waiting to hear the fake typing.
CBS Mornings (2021)
Getting Worse
Not a fan of the loud and blasting trumpets. Gayle still feels the need to repeat everything and ask dumb questions. Nate always has a stupid smug look on his face and says dumb comments like Gayle. The only reason I watch this show is for Tony and all the great correspondents.
Where'd You Go, Bernadette (2019)
Worse than the book
I read this disaster of a book a few years ago and heard it was going to become a movie. I swore I wouldn't waste any more time on this story. However, when it showed up on Hulu this week I decided I would give it a try hoping that the story would be a bit stronger and more interesting with the casting and cinematic backing. Unfortunately it was actually worse than the book. I have no idea how people actually followed this story with the omission of important details. A big stinker!
9-1-1: Lone Star (2020)
10 pounds of crap stuffed in a 5 pound bag
Love Rob Lowe. Usually his addition is a positive thing. The overacting, overly-diverse, poorly written, and inaccurate details was enough to make me cancel the series on my dvr. Is it possible to stuff every stereotype into a pilot? They definitely tried. Had been looking forward to this show, but wow they really blew it. Somebody should be embarrassed with green-lighting this stinker.
Uncut Gems (2019)
Give me a Xanax
So much yelling. So loud. Such a stressful movie. Bad teeth, bad plot, bad story. I don't get any of the 10 star ratings. Maybe we saw a different movie. Ugh
127 Hours (2010)
Stupid guy, stupid story, stupid movie
What a waste of my time. Making a movie about an arrogant a-hole going off on his own to become an even bigger a-hole. How about a movie that doesn't try to convince me of this. Too many fictional events added to make the story more titillating.
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want to have to go through what Aron did, however I am not such an egomaniac to allow myself to be in that situation. As an avid climber and mountaineer, I first learned to never go off on your own. I cannot believe I wasted two hours of my life watching this drivel.
I do not understand those of you who say you've walked away with a deeper understanding of life, felt inspired or have emotional clarity from this movie. Pathetic and sad. Let's stop glorifying idiots, okay?
