Survive the Game (2021)
Retire Bruce for the sake of all the good movies you did decades ago
I don't know whether it's a financial thing or just plain desperation but the last few movies with a once great action actor have been appalling.
WARNING - going to include an offensive term here
Those other characters in this movie their (offensive term) acting... well I've seen better professional footballers act better on the pitch.
But I shouldn't just blame them! The direction, the shots, the scenes...who needs to see a speedometer increase from 35moh when the vehicle has been in a chase for the last 2 minutes? It's just like the movie was shot and created in the 70's but all the actors were. CGI'd onto the original movie.
Bruce (if you actually read this) is the money you got paid worth more than your pride?
The Outpost (2019)
Sad to see the pathetic low rated comments.
Yes it's a movie and therefore contains accentuated characters and some fiction - it isn't "on-the-fly" documentary/news. The storyline is based on actual events (note the word storyline it contains the word story).
Was I glued to the screen? Hell yes.
Would I recommend to other mature, understanding friends or veterans? Hell yes.
Note to the few critics wanting more - join up in the military and volunteer for active duty.
Arthur & Merlin: Knights of Camelot (2020)
Action? Adventure? B-Movie - only kids rating this high
Every movie has "action" I suppose but if you're looking for real "action" and you're mature then this isn't the place to find it.
Every movie has "adventure" - see above
Yes 100% it's history with B-Movie or lower direction/acting but must give thumbs up for some of the props & scenery/location.
It seems kids of today haven't the time to discover movies made over 10 years ago because I'm sure if they did then they're rating for this effort would be severely impacted.
To be honest after 30mins I watched Dreamer: Inspired By a True Story (2005) and loved every minute of it - currently the rating is only 6.8 go figure.
The Wind Walker (2019)
Probably just about B Movie grade
Couldn't get my head around the Eric Roberts fanboy review giving 8 stars
Guessing the 10mins, if that, of Eric Roberts takes this movie and it's running costs out of the B Movie bracket.
Movie listed as Adventure ONLY - I must be missing something here.
The scene directors (or whatever the correct term is) constant encouragement to capture the main character strutting towards then pausing for the camera.... needs to go back to art school or find another vocation.
Apologies if some find this too critical, it's an opinion, it's my opinion.
