The main character comes from your worst sitcom, i wouldn't be surprised if they wrote her part watching twilight.

The science behind this series is weirder and weirder, Star Trek universe has its own science rules but they go beyond to an absurd point. This is the guardians of the galaxy with star trek costumes.

Then comes the gay pride, i'm expecting bestiality anytime now.

It's really a freak-show but the worst is all their personal dramas which cover for the absence of scenario.

You like Star Trek ? Do yourself a favor and (re)watch Enterprise series, Deep space nine, Babylon 5 (which has the star Trek vibe) or even the earliest series.

I shouldn't have put it 1 out of 10 but the score of that movie is so high it is a scam for sure, i think it should be around 3.

Where is the report abuse link ? Someone has found a way to create or to pirate a lot of accounts in order to increase the score of a movie, that's lame but i guess it's just obvious for this one, we should have seen that coming, when we see average movies or commercial movies which aren't exceptional with too high reviews, we just blame the taste of average reviewers.

Well, don't watch this crap for the sake of your free time. There isn't anything interesting about this movie, i won't even elaborate, many people did it already, just trust us or prepare yourself to waste your time. ;-)

Deserved a better director

Good title, maybe the best feature of the movie. This movie walks on the line between bad movies and good ones. Let's say it's a "good" B-movie.

The story looks somewhat like a big mess, sometimes it works, sometimes you really feel like you should stop watching and do something else.

Same for the actors, sometimes they are OK, sometimes it doesn't work, sometimes they're good.

Anyway, actors and characters are moving, maybe that's what kept me watching even if the dialogues aren't always really good.

Too many things are wrong about "les yeux jaunes des crocodiles" and let me tell you it's a real shame because all the actors involved deserve better, even Samuel Le bihan whom wasn't that bad 15 years ago.

The Boss of It All (2006)

A Masterpiece

All the actors are really good in this movie but Jens Albinus is a pure genius, his performance in "the boss of it all" outclasses any actor i've ever seen (i'am a cinéphile and i watch a lot of movies from all over the world ).

Of course, Lars von trier has a lot to do about that performance, since that movie, he's my top director as well.

I've seen a lot of comedies but how many comedies can you watch all over years and still being interested and even laugh of the jokes you already know perfectly well ?

That's the only one i know. Because Lars von Trier set the scenes with humour and intelligence combined and his actors have a lot of self-derision, particularly Jens Albinus.

That's where all his genius come from, that and his actors skills. there is a lot of good actors but none as good as him with half his self derision, that's what makes him unique.

It's really difficult to choose your preferred movie but if i had to make that choice, "The boss of it all" would be the one.

Simply a masterpiece ...

Hi,

Well, i thought i'll be watching a movie and the 7.4 rating usually means something on IMDb (usually but there is some exceptions).

Well, this one obviously is. So, don't watch this unless you really know what you're going to watch and you know you'll enjoy it. Some people enjoy tuning their cars some enjoy beating cats, some might enjoy watching this "documentary" about cars ...

7,4, seriously ? I'd explain that with the fact nobody watch this except me and people who are specifically searching for this.

I'd give it a 0,01 if it was possible ...

Man of Steel (2013)

Disappointing

I like super hero movies, action movies but i believe action and intelligence can go together.

If you believe that as well, don't bother watching this movie.

The first 30/40 minutes are appealing, new background, no secret identity preserved by a pair of glasses.

But that's it, after this good start, everything comes so wrong, this movie is a mix between catastrophe movie, propaganda, tons of explosion and destruction with super-powers and aliens on the background.

Let me tell you the cocktail is a failure. It's a shame because Zack Snyder's view is interesting (i'm sure he's not the one responsible for that, shame on him for having his part in it anyway ), the main actors are good.

Well, that's it, the scenario is terrible, dialogs are tasteless, the main story is inconstant. well, you watch the entire movie and what's left ? Almost nothing, some good scenes from the beginning.

I wanted to make it short, it's already too long, this movie is a big disappointment. From now on, i'll think twice before giving any penny to the Warner Bros, maybe this movie wasn't that useless, after all ...

When are we going to get another gem like watchmen ?

Serial Lover (1998)

Dark, mysterious and funny (explanations about some references )

Many people wrote good reviews about this movie but there is more about it.

About the title, it's not in french because serial killer is as much used as "tueur en série" and "amoureuse en série" doesn't make as much sense as serial lover. "Serial" anything is associated with serial killers for french people.

Michèle Laroque's performance is outstanding but there is more, many actors known as "les robins des bois" play on this movie and add their own touch of absurdity.

There is also albert dupontel, he is an actor at first and he's also a director nowadays, if you like this comedy, you should try his movies as well.

I hope you all enjoyed this movie as much as me, i just discovered that gem and i'm happy to know there is still amazing movies to discover from my own country and all over the world.
