Comedy has always served as a mirror reflecting society's idiosyncrasies and absurdities. The movie does exactly that, fearlessly poking fun at Albanian societal norms, challenging stereotypes, and pushing the boundaries of political correctness; some of the scenes are unprecedented in Albanian cinema. Keep in mind, comedy, perhaps more than any other genre, is very subjective. What tickles one person's funny bone might leave another cold. Dismissing a movie based on personal taste neglects the richness that comes from embracing diverse comedic expressions. Hating popular things doesn't make one cool, and it's very much yesterday's fashion.

Breathtaking cinematic quality coming from the small screen.

I wonder how this finale would have made me feel if I watched it in a big screen.
This episode is unexpectedly way better than I thought was possible. One full hour filled with dramatic tension, heart wrenching dialogues and some well thought plot twists.
The garage scene is the most intense scene I've watched in the last years, handled with personality by the writers and strong performances by the actors. Scenes like this are definitely hard to forget.
The ending was beautiful: two people who love their birthplace so much they risked everything just to make it better. Now they return, gazing into the sunrise of their new life. Because this show is not afraid to end in a poetic note.

That's some Breaking-Bad-level twist right there in the final moments. If only the setup for that twist was done better...
The final scene has some creepy Breaking Bad vibes and parallels. I'm referring to Dead Freight episode of season 5. In Dead Fright, the whole episode was a heist. In Amber Waves, the heist is introduced only near the end. In Dead Freight, someone is killed in the last seconds. That happens also in Amber Waves. In Dead Freight, that person was a kid. Here, that person is a young man with whom the main characters and the audience are very familiar.
Even if that final scene was introduced out of the blue, I enjoyed it, but I would have enjoyed it a lot more if that moment was build better...
Still an overall good episode that serves as a build up for the entire season.

No wonder this episode got nominated for an Emmy for best writing. The scene between Elizabeth and the old lady is one of the most suspenseful and terrifying moments on TV, after Breaking Bad.
Like other reviewers have said, with just one word you could understand everything that would came after, with just one world the whole episode took another direction to its inevitable end.

30 Rock totally deserves all the Emmys and Golden Globes. Is a very well- written and well-acted comedy and this episode is one of the best. Is a hilarious joke-fest weaved with awkward situations and clever plotting. Hell, even the tag scene is funnier than the entire "The Big Bang Theory" series. Tina Fey with no doubt is a comedic genius. What I like the most about this show are the satire elements in it and this episode is a piece of brilliant satire. If more people watched this show the world would be a little bit better.
