Our Town (2017)
I don't want to miss an episode
I love Our Town! I first found it when I was visiting the UK and fell in love with the country and this amazing slice of life in Great Yarmouth.
The acting is unbelievable, and the characters are so lovable and complex, I'm hooked for life. I especially love Karen and her family, and Mick and his brood are amazing as well. I laughed and loved every minute of the Liam and Stacey chemistry, and I can't imagine how it can be rekindled, but wish it would! I'm so happy to see Rocky's complete metamorphous, and reinvention, and I have hopes for Karen to become softened and more likable as time goes on. I have to say I'm glad Troy is gone. He was just so harsh and pretty much a bad person. I love that most every character has a good heart deep down.
So whatever happens next, I'm up for the ride with all the great people of Norfolk. Love them all!!!!
Final Curtain Part 23 - Mardi Gras Massacre (2021)
It's horrific
It's quite ghastly to watch and that's what I find interesting in this horror. Billy C is amazing in this film and I find him charismatic.
I ate some popcorn while watching this film, sweet to be specific. I enjoyed it more like eating.
Black Smoke Rising (2012)
Black smoke rising
After the life of his brother Rafe is cut tragically short, boozy blues singer Jonah discovers that Rafe's will has put him in charge of scattering the ashes according to his brother's wishes. The problem: those wishes can only be discovered by following a series of clues, forcing Jonah to hit the road for a scavenger hunt in which he discovers that Rafe's spirit has come along for the ride.
In Circles (2018)
Beautiful cinematography, great acting and lovely sound design
This film was one of the best films I've ever seen. Jonnie Hurn (The Power) and Dan Burman (I'm Still Here) are excellent in their performances. Trippy visuals too! Well done to the filmmakers because it looks outstanding.
