Psycho (1998)

Exactly scene for scene the same

I don't know why this movie was given such low ratings because it was the same, the very same scene for scene of the original movie. It even used the same music! The only difference was the acting was better in the original. Vince Vaughn did a good job as Norman Bates but nobody could play the part as well, and as creepy as Anthony Perkins. He is and always will be Norman Bates.

The TV show the Bates Motel was very good with Freddy Hightower, but they verved off the script with adding a brother and the brother selling drugs. They stretched it out to fill several seasons It was an excellent TV show but verved away from the original movie.

The Black Phone (2021)

Fell Asleep Several Times

Much of the storyline was quite confusing such as while he was talking on the phone to other kidnapped kids. I fell asleep when a dog was barking then fell asleep. I woke up when the boy was choking the creepy villian. Was this supposed to smiliar to Nightmare on Elm Street?

I'm sorry that they turned Sex and the City into this dull, boring and horrible TV show. The characters used to be sassy and clever, not anymore. The characters are now stupid and totally dismal. And Carrie has gotten even more selfish and self-centered. Yuck.

Superb movie. This movie makes you want to run out and join the Navy. Excellent and truly realistic fighter jets scenes. This movie even had a little romance. Can Tom Cruise get any better?

This is one of the most thrilling and exciting movies I have come across in a long time. Everytime when one scene ends, something else unexpected pops up and you're all caught up again. Excellent acting and superb storyline. Can't beat this movie for total entertainment!

I've always enjoyed the series and looked forward to each and every episode. It was exciting.. The first movie was malleable and it should have been the conclusion of the series. However, someone decided another movie should be produced. It shouldn't have. But this should be the last movie. It better be. There's really nothing else to say about the characters.

I guess some people saw this movie as a drama, but it was so over the top and so ridiculous you couldn't help but laugh. The zany characters mixed together enjoyed bringing on each other misery. In the end, nobody came out ahead.

The storyline was great and so were the actors. Didn't know who the really bad characters were until it got closer to the end. I love British dramas beginning when Helen Mirren played a cop. Love British cop dramas, particularly Luther.

The movie was watchable, but the movie was full of entitled and privileged people simply bumping into one another. No real problems that most people face. The wife appeared to be upset with the husband because he was serious about his job. Didn't she want that huge mortgage to get paid??

Deadly Garage Sale (2022)

The story line was acceptable and the acting was somewhat good. Sometimes we do want to get revenge for when we felt wronged However, the culprits were at the wrong for stealing from the garage sale. Oh well. Not bad.

The movie and the acting were superb. The history of the indigenous people were not filtered through rose colored glasses. It portrayed the poignant truth. This county was built on the blood and broken bodies of people of color. The land was stolen. The old ways, including the languages, were forbidden. So much pain and violence. Excellent movie.

Bel-Air (2022– )

Excellent Retelling of One of My Favorite Sitcoms

Let the haters hate. This retelling of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was exceptional. The comedy told as a drama made the retelling that much more remarkable. I don't think Will Smith could have done a better job. And the actor chosen to be Will was the perfect choice. What more could I say except the proud producers should take a bow. Really enjoyed it.

Marry Me (2022)

It appears that we are still making the same mistake that we made at the garden of eden, we want the forbidden fruit. I knew how the movie was going to end, but I enjoyed the journey that both Jennifer and Owen took us. Very cute movie.

This episode reminded me so much of the Silence of the Lamb movie. Brutal, Graphic, and very disturbing. I thoroughly enjoyed the episode. However, I enjoy Investigative Discovery episodes, so what does that say about me?

Unleashing Mr. Darcy (2016 TV Movie)

I really did enjoy the movie. It was so cute. However it was extremely unrealistic and totally unbelievable. Guys who are wealthy and over-the-top handsome are nowhere as sincere and compassionate as Donovan Darcy was. I am sure that a teenage girl in love would enjoy the series of the Darcy movies. Cute and adorable.

Homicide Hunter (2011–2020)

One of the Best Crime Drama Shows on TV

Besides for the incredible BBC crime series, Homicide Hunter is absolutely gripping! It's intelligently written, and the actors are quite realistic. I enjoy watching TV shows like the First 48 and SWAT, but Homicide Hunter has me cheering every Joe Kenda catches the criminal. He is decisive, dedicated and determine to apprehend the sadistic killer. One of the best crime shows ever!

Cute Movie

I thought this was a very cute romantic-comedy. However, things must not had been going well with his girlfriend and with her boyfriend if all it took to make them both to have second thoughts was a good night on the town. Both prospective relationships must be quite rocky. I do understand. Sometimes you settle with a person who is not quite what you are looking for, but they are close enough. Maybe 65% of what you want. He didn't appear happy in his relationship when he first met Ruby. And Ruby is on and off with her guy. Settling is a safe way to go, but nothing is like being with someone and there's fireworks overhead. It makes a big difference. Cute movie.

It doesn't make sense to hate and attack someone because they are different from you. The flowers in a bouquet are beautiful, all of them, but why should one flower hate another because it's a different color or has different petals? This movie is very important. The acting was quite good and Mark Wahlberg deserves an applause. This movie should be viewed by all teenagers and young adults. Maybe even some older people who are bigoted should also watch the movie. Well done.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)

I enjoyed Ghostbusters Afterlife. It wasn't as good as the original, but it was quite entertaining. The special effects were great. Another movie to help ease the boredomness dealing with Covid-19 and its after effects within daily life.

Texas Killing Fields (2011)

I enjoyed the movie. I pretty much enjoy most serial killer movies. It had a few flaws, but it was gritty enough with serious twists and turns to make up for that. The acting was great.

Found no fault. I don't understand why the other viewers gave it such low marks. Very entertaining.

Falling Down (1993)

Michael Douglas at His Best

This movie is superb. The plot and storyline is exquisite. It tells the story of a man who has fallen down, along with society....decaying. Douglas should have won an Oscar. He was almost as wonderful in this movie as he was in Wall Street. Duvall was excellent too. Flawless movie. Superb.
