Game of Thrones: The Last of the Starks (2019)
Lazy
The plot here was just lazy. The way things are wrapping up is not consistent with the true natures of each character. All of a sudden Sansa is behaving like Cerci. Between Bronne's behavior and the way the directer set up the death of Reagon (which ever dragon) was just bad lazy writing. The fat that they couldn't fit in a scene with John Snow and Ghost. At this point, I just want the show to end peacefully. Wrap it up so I can move on from the plot knowing that the good guys win. Finally. Instead, they are putting random plots together and trying to force them to fit when they just don't. For example, The uncle from Iron Islands, you mean to tell me that he thinks Cerci is 1 month along? She's been pregnant for like 5 years. Get on with it and don't be this stupid.
Marie Antoinette (2006)
Wanted to Love But
Someone once said this is the movie you want to love but just can't. Overall if you take simply the plot out of the movie you're left with nothing more that a fictionalization story somewhat accurate but not really about Maria Antonia. It's like Kristen Dunst gets to play dress up for 2 hours and eat strawberries, oh and nothing else happens, say like the French Revolution and their deaths. Even if you say, oh well these were the events leading up to that, no, they're not the events leading up to that. So no, not true. They play MA as if she had no power and no ambition at all and that all of her motives came from a place as innocent as KD would have you seem. Sure. What's troublesome about this old movie is the need for Sohpie Coppola to make everyone believe that MA partied it up and the only reprocess ion from that was that she had to leave her house. She also had an affair and the only repercussions from that were that she and the king lived happily ever after.
The Judge (2014)
Very Bad Acting On a Not So Great Script
Very simply put, these are some of the worst performances I've ever sat through. What's interesting is this moving is so long and yet no one notices there was absolutely no chemistry between NONE of the actors.
Honestly, I a huge fan of most everyone of the film but this is just obviously bad acting and a bad script. I mean come on, Downey and Duvall both getting out of the car angrily and walking away from each other down the middle of the road? Really? How poetic, a hammed up father/son hateful relationship in which the two characters are exactly alike but don't see it in each other? I may seem cynical but this movie is a walking cliché that never would exist in a real situation. I am surprised anyone can sit through this movie and feel like they gained something from the experience.
