The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)
Wolf of Wall Street is enjoyable...I mean WOW
I don't have a clue the point of the movie. Scoresese is either working some elaborate philosophical scheme, or hes getting bored and wanted to make a movie thats absolutely outrageous. In the best f*cking way possible. Wolf of Wall Street is so entertaining, 3 hours feel like 1 . Honest to God. There is no way you will get bored. This movie explores the depths of human depravity in the form of Jordan Belfort, a stockbroker who perfect a get rich quick scheme--selling penny stocks. But at no point is there a lesson, or a moral. Belfort is still rich today. Spent a mere three years in jail. Probably much less than that. Hes living the good life and has only paid back 10 percent of money he ripped off from investors. Does that all matter?? Hell no! Wolf of Wall Street is self sustaining, a machine that is engineered to perfection. Leo deserved an Oscar nomination for his mind numbing performance. He truly steals the show. As does Jonah Hill. This man is a terrific actor. But altogether, the thought of this movie is
1. its okay to lie and cheat 2. you go to jail if you lie and cheat, so don't lie and cheat
I don't get it? Scorsese please explain it to me.
Wolf of Wall Street is a tremendous ride that gets better as it goes. This is powerful stuff.

JFK (1991)
85/100 for JFK
Oliver Stone's JFK is filled with passion. From the very first scene it captivates and intrigues. For those who have lived through the time of the the murder of JFK is seems like another blatant propaganda movie. But for young viewers like myself, its brimming with interesting and thoughtful ideas. The key in watching JFK is to separate fact from fiction. But to label Oliver Stone's film propaganda is in incorrect. JFK simply presents an idea that is entirely plausible. The acting is superb. Kevin Costner delivers through just like he always does. And there are other terrific actors, notably Joe Pesci and Tommy Lee Jones. The movie moves along with rapid fire pace, it slows down in the middle, then delivers a hard hitting third act like no other. JFK is a stunning movie, however Oliver stone takes up liberties, rather than facts. 85/100.
Fight Club (1999)
Read this review
Roger Ebert says the second half of this movie turns into the most unremitting violence ever shown on film. He says the movie makes the mistake of masquerading as philosophical, and the point of the movie was probably taken the wrong way by many viewers. Roger Ebert is my favorite movie reviewer of all time, but he is dead wrong. Whatever you take away from Fight Club is whatever you take away. It is what is. This is the smartest movie I have ever watched and the best movie of 1999. You should definitely see this movie. Talk about it with your parents, smart friends, dumb friends. Different people see the point of this movie in different ways. At the end of the day, Fight Club does one simple thing. It empowers people to live more productive lives. Do something new, be a part of life. Or don't. Be the most productive person you can be in whatever you want to be productive in. Fight Club- 10/10
Shark Tank (2009)
Great Show about Business for up and coming entrepreneurs but arrogance...
This is a pretty good show. There are five sharks, each of whom are successful business men. Different entrepreneurs come in and pitch their product, and the sharks decide whether they want to invest in them. It is a great show for figuring out how to start a business. There are some fantastic ideas and fantastic ways that the people first got the money to start their business that are inspiring. However the sharks... Mark Cuban is in my opinion the best shark. When a product is BS, he knows it and tells them he's out. But sometimes, he further demeans them in a way which is almost painful to watch. Same with Daymond sometimes. Kevin O' Leary is truly the worst. He keeps making awful analogies about how his money is his soldiers and other stupid stuff like that. This is a terrific show, however the arrogance of the sharks is sometimes over the top and becomes annoying to watch.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005)
This is the funniest show on television. Hilarious and refreshing.
Its always sunny is a show about five scumbags who run a bar called Paddy's Pub. There are Mac, Dennis, Charlie, and Dee, as well as Frank, who is the father of Dennis and Dee. Mac and Charlie are high school friends of Dennis and Dee. That is basically all you need to know. The show is set up in a way that there is no continuation, so you don't have to know what happens say in episode 12 to watch episode 13. FX always has a knack of getting great, hilarious shows and It's always sunny is proof of this. The way these five scumbags manipulate each other is hilarious. After watching the first episode, you will instantly get hooked.
