Decent movie for a few laughs
15 May 2008
Slight spoilers ahead!

I liked this movie a bit.I found that it had far too many serious incidents (KKK is nothing to joke about). I think it's funny to make fun of everyone but the whole terrorist thing was too played out. NPH was pretty funny. The scary kid in the basement was too. I also liked the back story about Kumar. It became a little mushy at the end. I liked the first movie a lot. This one is worth seeing if you really liked the first one. Expect to laugh a little bit and you won't be disappointed. I just think it could have been better. Maybe another sequel will be better with more Rosenberg and Goldstein.

One of the best but not quite the best!

This was a very good superhero movie. I would say that it is one of the best behind Batman, Superman, X2 and Spiderman 2. Brandon Routh does a great job as Superman but not quite the bumbling Clark Kent that Christopher Reeve was. I think that Kate Bosworth was decent although a bit young looking as Lois Lane. I really liked James Marsden as Richard White and I thought that Kevin Spacey did a good job as Lex Luthor. It would have been nice to see even more of Lex. I also wish that they would have told more of why Superman left and what he was doing. I enjoyed the special effects as well as the touching twist at the end. Overall, an enjoyable superhero movie that should be spawning some sequels.

If you liked the others, you'll enjoy this slice!

I must say I like all the American Pie movies, but without the original cast I was a bit skeptical. This movie has all the crude humor and laughs that the others had. I enjoyed the character of Matt Stifler although I think they could have gone even farther with the making of the videos. Overall a very good teen flick that anyone can enjoy. I liked this better than most comedies lately and I hope that Matt and Elyse can return in "American Family" since Michelle was pregnant in this one. I think that would be a great way to end the series. I'm hoping that people give this movie a chance and realize that although the Stifler character is over the top, the movie does send a message. It's a funny and sometimes disgusting way to do so but definitely a worthy one indeed.

The Bat is Back!!!
16 July 2005
This was a very enjoyable movie although Christian Bale is a little over the top voicing Batman, he did do a good job. I also thought that Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Gary Oldman and Michael Caine gave great performances as well. I'd say that this is my second favorite Batman next to the original. I hope they keep it dark and gritty and I think that Christopher Nolan did a fine job. The movie combines drama, action and a little humor wrapped up into a finely crafted story of how Batman evolved. I thought Katie Holmes did an okay job but lacked that character depth as well as some of the the villains. I would have like to have known even more about the Scarecrow. Overall, very pleased and hopefully they continue to bring back the bat!
