The Giant Gila Monster (1959)
Extremely Average
The only redeeming quality about this film is the use of an actual living, breathing reptile. The stereotypes are pretty funny. Other than that, this film is terrible. Crashing tiny toy cars into a real lizard who has no idea what the f*ck is going on is hilarious. This movie is an example of a generic 50s sci-fi film that attempted to frighten audiences, but almost succeed. The concept of the film almost sounds like a Gojira ripoff, but it's not. I wouldn't put this film on par with plan 9, though. This film, while being very average, is still not as bad as Plan 9 or The Robot Monster. This film is pretty forgettable, though. "The Giant Gila Monster" is a pretty bad film, but not as bad as some other 50s Si-Fi (Plan 9).
5/10.
Scarface (1983)
Best Gangster Movie Of All Time
*WARNING! THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS. IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE FILM, DON'T READ!*
I loved this movie, I really did. This movie has the best characters, acting, story, and setting of all time. Al Pacino really delivered with this movie.
While watching this movie, I laughed, cried, got chills, smiled, and many other emotions. This is one of the only films that managed to get that many emotions out of me. You actually care about each and every character.
The ending is the most dramatic ending I have ever experienced. I was shouting "TONY BEHIND YOU!" over and over again at the screen. The ending was the second saddest part of the film, besides Manny's death. I cried at both parts.
I highly recommend "Scarface" to anyone, even if you are not into gangster movies. 10/10.
The Thing (1982)
The Best Horror Film Of All Time, In My Opinion,
The Thing (1982) is not only the best horror film of all time, it's also the best remake of all time. It still scares me to this day.
This movie isn't even cheesy. It's pure horror. Not knowing who's human or who's not, aliens being able to almost perfectly impersonate the host, the constant distrust... It's truly terrifying.
The special effects are very good, especially for the 80s. The look of the aliens when they transform doesn't look fake or rubber at all. It's believable effect-wise.
The acting is superb and believable. It's not like the acting in Friday The 13th or any of that cheese. It's very good.
9/10 would defiantly recommend this wonderful film.
The Walking Dead (2010)
Awful, Overrated, and Generic.
Yes, you heard me right. This show is atrocious. It has average acting, average story, annoying characters, and a terrible (and I mean TERRIBLE) fan-base. I gave this show a try, but I couldn't take it anymore. The zombie genre is officially dead. The last good thing that involved zombies was "Zombieland". Just kill the genre as soon as possible. This show is terrible. Just end already! This show is by no means "Good". All it is is basically Young And The Restless with zombies, but even WORSE acting. This show needs to be exterminated immediately. I can't believe this show is up to season 5! It is atrocious. This sh*t needs to stop! Just stop it, AMC. Just put a bullet in the brain of this genre.
