I just didn't have the heart to rate this anything less than 9/10

Warning: Spoilers
*Definitely Contains Spoilers* (I didn't want to write about spoilers but then I couldn't really express my feels otherwise.)

The film started out with a bang, lost it somewhere in the middle but ended strong.

First my complaints: I had such high expectations for this film that I was claiming it to be the best movie before even watching it, sadly it wasn't. Actually the first disappointment happened before the movie even started when the lady taking tickets informed me that I wouldn't be allowed to bring my Thor hammer in the theater even though I had brought it with me in the past to Thor 2 and Cap 2. Seriously it's just a toy.

Anywho, I forgot about that little fiasco as soon as the movie started, only to find that more disappointment was on the way.

The movie had so much potential but just didn't take the turn I was hoping for. I feel like it focused too much on uninteresting things such as the random "romance" between Black Widow and Hulk which seemed unfitting and out of place. I felt like the whole "Hawkeye's farm" secret was unnecessary, unwanted, as well as out of place. Plus it slowed the movie down in a dull sort of way. I only wouldn't have minded the overly zealous amount of attention on Hawkeye if he had been the one to die. No offense Hawkeye fans, but he was the most expendable. And it would have been a heroic death. Which brings me to my biggest disappointment: killing off a new character who had so much potential. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch (and Vision) were a nice change a pace for the movie and I was really looking forward to both of them in future movies. But who know's hopefully Scarlet Witch can bring him back somehow. ~On a side note of complaint: I was also disappointed with the lack of screen-time/lines/importance of Thor and Captain America in the movie. Thor was already hardly in the first one; he shows up practically half way through. ~On another side note of complaint: I was annoyed with the disrespectful digs directed towards Catholics to make jokes that weren't even funny.

I know this review doesn't really make sense, a high rating with lots of complaints and really I need to watch the movie again to give it a proper rating because the first time was difficult to pay attention due to the unimaginably, deafening volume blasting out of the speakers rumbling the whole theater and blowing up my heart (or was it perhaps the death of Quicksilver that did that?). Really though, having the volume full blast doesn't make it a better movie.

But all that aside, there were things, or rather characters, I enjoyed more than I expected in the movie such as: Vision, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Ultron. There were entertaining fight scenes and character conflicts/interactions, likable characters, and a satisfying final fight scene.

In a a nutshell: Definitely not as good at the first one but still a good movie.
