Travelers (2016)
It has potential....but
This show has potential, but I have to disagree with others who have said, that the writing is tight. That's the one sloppy thing about it. If the writers hadn't been so inconsistent, I would have given it a better rating. To avoid spoilers, I will not go into detail - but I marathon shows - so anything that is off from one episode to the next pops right out at me.
The premise is interesting, the acting pretty good and overall it's entertaining. Some of the characters are well developed. You find yourself caring about them, while - I think - others characters are just like props, with no meat on their bones.
It does keep you coming back for more – wanting to see what might happen next!
Witches of East End (2013)
Like most TV these days, starts off great and then....
Julia Ormond is a great actress, in fact, the whole cast does well.
You can only do so much with a cheesy, easy, lazy script, right? This show started very well, but the 2nd season was a big let down. They have already taken away the final threat -- death. It isn't just a few people, half the cast dies and comes back to life on a semi-regular basis.
The killing of the king was just too easy - after so much build up.
And then switching places... I won't even get into that.
All that being said, it's fun enough to watch. If you don't expect any real plot twists, or amazing surprises - it's fine. It beats reality TV, and the genre is one of my favorites.

Revenge (2011)
Good idea turned Soap Opera
While I like this show, I must say it has turned into a night time soap.
The first season was amazing! The 2nd season was quite a let down, and the writers lost track of what they were doing. Too many loose ends, and plot holes.
If you marathon shows (like I do) on Netflix, it's easy to pick out the inconsistencies in this one.
Season 3 was better, and I will continue to watch this show - but I am not nearly as excited about it as I had hoped. Such a great idea, wonderful acting, but very poorly written.
Madeleine Stowe is, as always, superb!
