M3GAN (2022)
Stop reading these reviews; WATCH IT, then judge it for yourself!
This is a reviewer that is a horror movie FANATIC! I love a good horror with a high body count, blood, and guts, and I loved this movie. It is incredibly confident, for good reasons, and there's nothing worse than a movie that is overly confident and shouldn't be. But this movie has every right to be confident, and yes, there isn't a ton of blood. However, to see so many reviewers saying this isn't a horror, I disagree. ITS ABOUT A KILLER DOLL FOR HEAVENS SAKE. There is something about a movie where you can watch it and say to yourself, "I wonder how this is going to turn out to be a horror movie". That means they actually care about character creativity, and a solid plot, not just killing someone in the first scene to prove themselves worthy of being labeled a horror movie or being R. This movie absolutely RULED, and the freaking robots fighting each other was AWESOME. I feel sorry that so many people couldn't see the creativity and originality behind this movie. Honestly, give it a watch, and rate it for yourself, because you'll be missing out if you go by these other reviewers bad ratings...I was truly surprised to see so many poor ratings.
We're All Going to the World's Fair (2021)
It's this a joke?
This isn't just, the worst horror movie I have ever seen in my entire life, no. This. Is the worst movie I have ever seen in my life.
Wow. How in the world did this get a single positive review? I will never know.
There is essentially zero plot, basically, someone could do better making a horror from a home movie.
Basically, the only scary thing about this film, is the rating it has on Rotten Tomatoes. Which has me genuinely rethinking if I will ever use, or trust, Rotten Tomatoes again.
But I can only be mad at myself for sticking that movie out, the entire time, thinking something good was around the corner. Shame on me!!!
Evil Lives Here (2016)
The most underated crime show on TV
I'm absolutely addicted to crime shows but IM just not into those shows with crazy titles on ID. However, I stumbled upon this show one day and was super impressed at the layout of the show; the interviewer would hand the interviewee pictures and they would talk about it to tell their story. I don't like drama reenactments but this show uses them sparingly and when they do use it, it's to describe something that can't be described through words. It reminds me more of a 48 hours layout, besides you don't see or hear the interviewer, except an occasional faint voice. If your all out of datelines, 48hrs, and criminal justice this is definitely up your alley or if your into true crime at all check if out!!!!
Hereditary (2018)
COMPLETELY overrated
I'm usually not a fan of paranormal movies without plots. I loved the Blair Witch Project and I found this movie not only to be a movie I don't like but I think others would agree but I know a lot of people really like it. I'm only giving it 3 stars because of the cast and their amazing acting
Pro's: amazing cast, good first 20 minutes, good acting
Con's: confusing, no real plot, bad writing, incredibly slow after the beginning of the movie, the paranormal effects where pointless and not scary
Surviving R. Kelly (2019)
Moving, disturbing, important, THE TRUTH
1 out of 10 people are survivors of sexual trauma; the survivors of r kelly are the definition of SURVIVORS. Every woman that spoke on that documentary are heros, it was by far one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. In the era of #metoo and #blacklivesmatter this documentary came out at a perfect time. It was so good, I watched it because I'm a true crime buff, but it was more than just a thrilling true crime story. It was so moving and showed how impressionable young teenage girls are. These girls all wanted to be famous and that is what he promised. Fortune and fame, and instead they got assaulted and mentally broken. This is by far a must watch by EVERYONE. Every color, every country, every class, every gender, and every religion needs to watch this.

Criminal Confessions (2017)
How have I never seen/heard of this show?!
This show is fantastic! I saw it on YouTube one day while I was bored searching true crime since I've seen EVERYTHING. I am a true crime fanatic I love 48 hours and dateline the most due to the very little narrative. I do not like dramatization in the shows I watch either and this show is just that in a nutshell. No narrative it is based upon family and friends of the victim/killers along with some law enforcement, attorneys, and doctors. The layout of the show is brilliant, I think they do a great job using different bits of people's conversation to describe what had happened during the murder etc...
Oxygen is great like that, they do a great job keeping a thriller aspect to the show. I feel as though 48 hours and dateline are very sad and horrific and this show is definitely thriller down to the cheesy music :) I love it though the loud drum hahaha yeah you definitely have to deal with cheesy music being a true crime junkie.
The Bad Batch (2016)
The highest rated worst movie I have ever seen
The beginning of the movie (first ten minutes) were awesome; gory and disturbing! And then it was just horrible. PAINFULLY slow and I absolutely had to shut it off about 50 minutes in and I wish I shut it off sooner.
Slasher (2016)
Will definitely give you a good scare!
Season 1 was awesome with a whole lot of forgiveness from logic that is.
Season 2 is good but I feel like everyone was arguing the entire time and it got to be really annoying and almost unbearable at times
No idea why people think the second one is better, beats me...
American Greed (2007)
TRUE CRIME GEM
The show is well executed in just about every way. Each case is chosen very carefully, they make sure there is enough detail that it will keep your attention for the deration of the episode. I don't like feeling as though a show could have explained the case in 5 minutes. This is just the opposite it is STUFFED with twists and unpredictable characters that commit unpredictable crimes.
I was 100% hesitate when I began watching, I didn't like the narrator I thought he was...tacky (for lack of better terms). He sounded like someone narrating '1000 ways to die'. But then, I realized how well written his script was and how detailed he is. He captivates your attention in a way that one with intelligence would, it was undeniable, I fell in love with him...
The show is well executed and a great addition to the true crime genre; I'm totally addicted and can't stop watching. I'm a big fan of well made shows such as dateline and 48 hours, I feel as though this show is just as good.
My biggest concern about a perfectly executed true crime show is the cases which are chosen. I believe the best quality American Greed has is their choice of cases they investigate. I see that they have a lot of other sub series that I will look into after I'm done! I'm so happy they have as many episodes as they do. They are so thoroughly made I was wondering if it was a short lived series before looking to see how many series they do have. I notice that well made shows don't tend to last as long because they cost so much to make, I hope that means people like it as much as me!
A Lonely Place to Die (2011)
6.3? Im disappointed my fellow IMDb'ers
I was on my edge of my seat the entire movie starting with the opening scene. The movie has spectacular visuals I was so impressed, at one point I thought, "this can compete with National Geographic's". I had no idea where the movie was going at anypoint, in a way where you can't look away. There are a couple of good plot twists that suprised me too so A+ for that. The writer has a way of emotionally involving you a throughout. A beautifully made, underrated gem.

El Clan (2015)
Why the high reviews?!
I found The Clan to be very disappointing...
The story itself if very captivating and you expect it to be somewhat as gripping as you'd think. The character building is decent you begin to like and dislike certain characters quickly. I felt the fact you don't see how those whom are being held hostage are living, you actually don't see them at all besides when the Father is making them write their ransom note, makes the movie more of a drama less of a thriller. They are crying and looked beat up you also don't see any abuse. I felt like those are key points of the story and the fact they don't also build on the hostage characters makes it less intense since your less emotionally involved... Just me.
Gone Girl (2014)
One of those can't even get up to go to the bathroom kind of movies...
Brilliant absolutely brilliant. From start to finish this was an all around great movie and is pretty much the film I'm always looking to find. Every twist and turn was completely unexpected which can be pretty rare in a drama/thriller...If your reading these reviews most likely you want to watch or already have and if your in the category of "wanting to watch" DO IT!! You will not regret it!I really didn't think I would even enjoy this for some odd reason but after the first ten minutes that changed and for me to be able to say that that's a total plus in my book.
p.s. for all the lovely ladies Ben Affleck and Tyler Perry are some serious eye candy to boot. Enjoy.
We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011)
A must see emotional thriller with great acting
This is why I gave a 7: (which to me means a good movie)...This movie is right down my aisle in my genre I like to watch...The movie is based on a mother knowing her son is a monster and does her best to love him while trying to fix his problem. All horror/thriller fans know what it can lead to after someone kills animals at an early age. The mother is definitely hands down an amazing actress which I'm curious why I've never scene her before in anything else because her talent in this movie is Incredible I love a good movie when I feel the emotions from the movie and this movie does just that. You really feel for her as a mother that would give her child the world (which she continues to do for Kevin before and after his problems) while Kevin abuses her physically and certainly emotionally. The end of the movie is amazing and definitely doesn't leave you hanging but if you decide to watch it, which you should Its a movie you need to get into and shouldn't be multitasking....this movie is under rated for sure. p.s.THIS IS MY FRIST REVIEW I HAVE Written ON IMDb I HOPE IS WAS A LITTLE BIT HELPFULL!!!!
