Break Point: Great Expectations (2023) Season 1, Episode 4

Very interesting

Great look behind. Made Paula Badosa very sympathic and interesting. You haven't that much chances to see Tennisplayers being human beeings. I love this show for showing that. It's also intersting zo show, how much the psyche can make out.

I think the show misses a bit to show the technical side of tennis, but I love to see how they train, how they behave in their private live, what they think after matches,...

As someone who does a lot of sports and also loves watching it you can feel their emotions.

I hope there will also be an episode about Swiatek, because she is one of the most interesting players.

Ons Jabeur obviously also very sympathic! But I liked here before the show. It didn't change.

Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)

Unnecessary Show

Ewen McGregor is great, but the story is not. A lot of things doesn't make any sense. It was cool to see Darth Vader, Obi-Wan and Leia, but why in this context? Obi-Wan and Darth Vader should never have met between Episode 3 and 4. Luke for example should never have seen a Lightsaber (third sisters) before Episode 4,...

It looks good most of the time and it also makes fun in some situations, but it was unbelievable unnecessary and it's also very bad written.

I really wanted to like it, but most of the time I was bored or angry about it. I hope in the future they will make no more shows about characters we already know. Obi-Wan and The Book of Boba Fett failed.

The Sandman: Playing House (2022) Season 1, Episode 8

Still good

The storyline is not the best. I'm also not the biggest fan of every actor. But it's still good. Better as most of the TV-Shows at the moment. And it's obvious with a relativly low budget, that you can't get the best actors and the best CGI. I think it's still intelligent and well made, even if it would have been better, if they had more money.

The Sandman: 24/7 (2022) Season 1, Episode 5

Great

Wow. David Thewlis is such a good actor. The story of 24/7 is one of the best I've ever read. They did it not as good as the comic, but nearly. It's great. It's dark. It's so well filmed. The music is also good. And the suspense is unbelievable. It's so intelligent. I loved it.

The Sandman (2022– )

It's good

Death is black. Why not? Someone is gay. Just normal. Constantine is female. Who cares? Important is the storywriting. You can cry like little children, but please do that silently, because you are just rasists, sexists and homophobics (in my opinion).

Sandman is a great comic and this is a series "based on" the comic. It hasn't to be exactly the same. And it's good. It's very good. It's well written, it's mostly well performed and it also looks very good. When all of you watched The Walking Dead, no one cared about the things they made not similar to the comic. Why here? Because society gets more and more hateful. You want to discriminate minorities and you are always the loudest on the internet, even if you are an absolute minority. It's very stressful and you can't discuss with people like that.

So please just focus on the series, its writing, its own story, the actors,... and not on wokeness, even if you hate it. Because this isn't fair, it's just a political agenda from you, nothing to do with the story of "The Sandman" (series).

(I'm at the moment at episode 3. I will give points, when I'm finished.)

Johanna Constantine great character, good actress. John Dee great character, great actor. Great story for this episode from a great comic. Well done. I love what you did there netflix. I'm still waiting for 24/7. I hope it will be a 10.

Not great, but a lot of potential. CGI isn't good, but they don't have the money, so it's ok. Also not every actor is great. But the feeling the episodes transmit and the story of the comics is great, so I'm happy they made the show and I also like it. (I hope 24/7 wil be great.)

Eleven/Vecna Storyline: 10/10 (great, very good actors, smart, very brutal, that's Stranger Things) but it makes Season 4 Chapter 4 a lot worse, because the music thing makes no sense anymore.

Russia Storyline 1/10 (nonsense)

Main Chatacters Storyline: 6/10 (some good scenes, some good ideas, but not very well made, there is a lot of luck and a lot of very close escapes)

The actors are very good (espacially: Jamie Campbell Bower, Millie Bobby Brown, Sadie Sink and Gaten Matarazzo), as the music and the look (great filmed).

Season 3 Problems Are Back

Childish comedy nonesense is back. Is it horror? Is it comedy? The writers don't know!

The russia storyline is unbelievable bad.

Eddie is incredibly unbelievable.

Nothing is funny, because the writers don't know when they can write funny moments and when it has to be serious. (Dustin is a bit funny)

The eleven storyline is interesting. Not great, but well done. It safes this episode a bit.

Season 4 loses credibility. It's very boring. It's not funny. The episodes are still too long. AND Stranger Things has another big problem. It's not Game of Thrones. They never let main characters die in the midseason and I think also not at the end. So it's not very exiting, because they will always be saved last second or they have a LOT of luck and can safe themselves somehow.

Filler

How long can someone draw a story? Unbelievable long. The russia storyline is one of the most boring things I have ever seen un my entire life. I would just cut it out.

It's also very stressful how long the episodes are. It's a TV-Show. Not a Film. The episodes are to long!

The actors are good.

The other thing I don't like since Season 3 (I hated Season , Season 4 does a lot better than S3) is, that the suspence is generated very unnaturally. People survive last second or die in unbelievable moments (the black guy f.e. Dies just in the moment, when the main characters stand all together with their flashlights AND while the bascetball team chases Eddie. I don't like the timing it's not credible (but in Season 3 it was even more unbelievable).

I liked some episodes of Season 4. But not this one. It's boring, long and feels very scripted.

The end is satisfying but not great. A lot of LUCK is the solution of the storywriters. Also a lot of people, we want to meat each other.

I enjoyed it, but I didn't realy like it. The last season was good. In my opinion Season 1-4 were better.

Very Onesided

Wolff cries all the time and says Horner cries all the time. Max drives all season a lot better than Hamilton, but they focus on his aggressive driving, while Hamilton does the same. Mercedes always complaining, cry that Red Bull is allways complaining. Mercedes and Wolff are so unsympathic, but I thought all the time "Drive to survive" tried to make them sympathic. I didn't like they never focused on Verstappen beeing the best driver and Mercedes having the best car, loosing, because Hamilton is not as good as Verstappen. I hope last epidode will be better.

Skip it. Nothing happens. Just some unnecessary scenes with unnecessary drama. Bad dialogues. Also weird scenes. And really nothing, that would be important for future episodes.

It's psychologically very interesting. But why are the characters so dumb? For me, that's a sign of bad writing. And it's also very predictable. I wasnt surprised by any scene or turn. So much wasted potential.

1. He survived last seconde at the end -> that's to obvious 2. It's overacted I know, but the woman with the lighter is very annoying 3. They planed it so good. Why are they so dumb and trust them so much - it would be much more realistic, when they would have had cameras on the toilet 4. Really? It's the one who wanted to check the undercovercop who dies? Really? Very bad written

I hope the other episodes will be better. I liked episode 1 and 2 a lot more.

Dune (2021)

Villeneuves tenet

I would give it just 9.5, because I think the importance of water came up short. And I also missed the banquet scene, what could have been a really clever scene with good dialogues.

But the film is absolutly great, the actors are without exception awesome, the scenes/ the dialogues are perfect, the length of the film is perfect, it's close to the books (great story) and the visual effects are insane (beautiful scenes -> action/fight scenes/nature/spaceships/worms/citys). You can see how much love Villeneuve and the actors put in and I really want to see more. This is the beginning of a new universe. The time I have to wait for part 2 will be hard.

In my opinion Villeneuve and Nolan are the best regisseurs in the world and they both made their visual/ their (characteristic for them)/signature masterpiece with Dune and Tenet. I love it.

Season 1 is a masterpiece and one of the best shows ever made. 10/10

Season 2 is total chaos very dumb written and was very boring and predictable. 5/10

Season 3 had good ideas, tried something new, that could have been good. But it failed. They shouldn't take the same characters or actors the whole time. And they shouldn't focus on the action scenes, that make no sense. 5.5/10.

The writters make luck/ dumb characters to the main plot points

Everytime someone survives or gets something done, it's because he has luck or the enemy is dumb. That's so bad written. I thought the whole time: Oh that was lucky, oh that was also lucky, Dolores could be killed now, but they wait for the other host(Maeve) to talk a bit with her. That makes sense. Oh the cop just shoots one time and not again, because the main characters needs to survive that makes sense.

And I hate when the enemy (Serac) wants someone to be dead but doesn't just kill him, he says to his stuff they have to kill him. In that moment you know the writers want them to survive, so they need to give them time.

This season has good ideas, but it's very senseless.

Westworld: Genre (2020) Season 3, Episode 5

So much potential

Season 2 was nonesense

This season has potential. So many great ideas and also good actors, enough money for a great look. But I think they should invest a bit more in the writing, because I don't like the timing sometimes, the characters decisions sometimes make no sense and most of the action scenes are very bad (f.e. In the shooting when the main characters doesn't even have to hide and get not even a scratch.)

Positive points are f.e. The scene when all people get out of there script and can be free because they know their future and can now decide. Or the past from serac, when he decides his brother doesn't fit to this world. Or the idea of this surveillance state. Thr possibility to control the world. I can see a lot of potential.

Westworld: The Winter Line (2020) Season 3, Episode 2

To much is to much

This one is not only to much. It's also very bad written and boring. It's easy to see through. Westworld season 1 was great, season 2 had some good ideas, but wasn't good at all and season 3 is really bad so far. It doesn't make any sense.
