Not Dead Yet (2023)
It's. not. horrible.
It's not horrible, but it's also not great. The show has its moments that are sweet and some that are mildly funny, but the majority of the "comedic" parts are just either really corny or over-the-top.
Gina Rodriguez is great as the main character, Nell, and Lauren Ash is great (as always). The guest stars are mostly well-known actors.
The show isn't bad or good but it definitely feels like it's missing something. The premise is her talking to dead people with it being a different dead person each episode. Unfortunately, there isn't an ongoing plot outside of that that connects the storylines between episodes.
Claim to Fame (2022)
It gives me something to watch
It isn't a bad premise. Unfortunately, most of them disclose who their relative is on the first episode so it leaves no incentive for viewers to watch. I think people would be more interested if they had to figure out who they are rather than watching other people try to figure it out.
This Fool (2022)
Acting is so bad
The show and its premise aren't bad. But, unfortunately, some of the acting is so bad it becomes unwatchable. The "comedy" is also really corny and juvenile.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015)
Something different. Something funny
I had heard some decent reviews, but didn't watch until the pandemic left me with nothing else to do. This turned out to be one of my favorite comedies. There is nothing like it on tv or streaming and you will laugh your ass off.
Bel-Air (2022)
I like it
I see a lot of negative reviews saying it isn't a comedy and therefore not a good representation of the original. After watching the first two episodes, I have to disagree.
This is so true to the original, just in a different genre. Considering how classic "Fresh Prince" was, to me, this version makes the most sense.
It's not just revisiting the same storylines in the same format. It's taking those classic storylines and expressing them in a completely new way.
I really hope this gets more than one season. I love it.
Abbott Elementary (2021)
Pilot was pretty good
So far only the pilot has aired until January, but I liked it. It definitely looks promising and I am looking forward to watching more episodes. So far it was pretty funny and entertaining.
Idiotsitter (2014)
This show was hilarious
I loved this show. It wasn't like any other show on TV and yeah the humor was stupid at times but that's what made it so funny. I miss it. I wish it would've gotten another season.
We're Here (2020)
I hope there is a second season
The format is great and very different from other drag related shows and movies.
Impractical Jokers: Dinner Party (2020)
Usually not a fan of this kind of programming
Made me laugh my a** off. Q and Joe are my favorites. But i love them all. They are hilarious.
3½ Minutes, Ten Bullets (2015)
I loved it
Seeing how effed up stand your ground laws are, this is a must see. I was just glad the final verdict was correct. But you can make that decision for yourself
Un coupable idéal (2001)
GREAT documentary....and shows how unreliable eye witness testimony can be
I loved this doc. The public defenders in this case were great. But it unfortunately shows how someone can misidentify someone of another race. The guy who turned out to be the killer looked NOTHING like Brenton Butler. One look at the kid and you would know he is not a killer...but this is the world we live in
The Mick (2017)
I wish they would bring this back
This show is so funny. I don't know why they canceled it.
