If you like David Lynch......
16 August 2018
If you like anything that David Lynch has made, especially season 3 of Twin Peaks, then you will be able to tolerate this movie. I say tolerate becuase I notice 2 of the 4 reviews are 0 stars given, the lowest score. Their complaints were mostly pacing issues. This movie is a series of events. Lets says there is 30 individual scenes in this movie, 3 of the scenes will be the same event, broken up over the entire movie. Thats the best way I can describe it. I know I am not telling you about the movie, really, but I cannot. It wouldn't help you decide. if it was any good. You know it's about a family already. That's exactly what it is, a movie about a family over maybe a few days or so. Time doesn't seem to pass by. It's extremely disjointed. You are probably thinking that I am criticizing this movie, but I am not. This brings me back to my original Statement. If you like, or probably really have to LOVE Lynch's work, then you will enjoy this movie. If you hated everything that Lynch has ever done, or think its so-so, then do not bother with this movie, it will just frustrate you, becuase you probably don't have very good patience for slow films that don't really seem to go anywhere.

For anybody who decided to only read all the bad reviews....
25 March 2018
I never review movies here. All I want to say about this movie is that I was suspicious of this movie from the start. I was almost certain I was going to be turning this off after 5 or 10 minutes. But an hour in and I'm still watching it. I actually paused it to look something up about the movie, and happen to catch some of the reviews.

So I read in a few of them that this movie is basically a revenge fantasy for gun nuts(That's an actual quote(paraphrased) from one of the reviews). Well this isn't a spoiler, and I'm only saying it becuase it's only spoken for a second and then forgotten, but the 2 older brothers are rangers. That's all I have to say. The rest of the movie is exactly what would happen if 2 rangers had their sister kidnapped, and they knew where she was.

War of the Worlds rip-off
13 October 2012
what can I say, right in the beginning of this movie seems to start of as if they were in the same movie War of the Worlds (2005), possibly following tom cruise around. I wouldn't be surprised if they just stole the computers and script from the production team of WotW. There is no redeemable quality of this stink fest. Worse than even the worst made for TV Scify Original movie. Stay Away, Far away................

P.S. On another note, I doubt that this movie will ever even see the light of day. I just had the misfortune to get a screener.

P.P.S. I don't even wont to waste anymore time on such a horrible movie, but I have to add 2 more lines of text, just to submit this

Basic low budget 90's style low budget made for video type flick
9 April 2011
What can I say, its a low budget fantasy horror flick... If you have nothing better to do on a Saturday afternoon and have some time to kill, and like watching cheesy movies, this ones right up your ally. Hero kid meets girl who attempts to save the day. I immediately noticed Hallee Hirsh, who played Dr. Greens daughter on ER. I always thought she had potential, but she was rather numb throughout the film. the only saving grace would be the always talented and always creepy Brad Dorif(wormtongue from LOTR), who plays the usual sinister villain. all I can add is I've seen worse. most people will probably hate it, but the true fans of cinema must always take the good with the bad!
