One Day (2024)
Could have been amazing
Heavy spoilers are included so don't read any further if you haven't watched it. I absolutely loved this show until the end of episode 13. The character development was great. Throughout the entire series I was deeply engulfed in the story and the way it played through the years. Their chemistry was great. With as terrible as the world can be today, movies are supposed to be a way to escape. So please tell me why she had to die? It ruined a great series and the ending was utter trash. They didn't even do like other movies where the main character significantly grows and develops after she passed. I loved the entire thing but the ending completely ruined the show for me. She dies and he becomes a functioning alcoholic. Great job.
Wrong Place (2022)
Movie of the year?!?!
So let me preface this review by saying I love B movies. That being said this movie has B level writing with an A level actor and actress. It's the best of both worlds. The writing in this movie is so bad it gets to the point of comical. If you're looking for a serious movie this prolly isn't for you. If you're looking for a movie full of wacky antics this is will be right up your alley. It's definitely an emotional rollercoster. There are so many interesting plot points that don't develop at all. Overall, it's a terrible movie with a super shallow plot but Bruce Willis and Ashley Greene are in it so it's pretty legit.
