Carol & The End of the World (2023)
Carol's Lament: A Slow-Burning Show That Leaves Viewers Regretful and Depressed
Attempting to appreciate the show, I found myself grappling with the irksome nature of Carol's character. The pacing, dragging its feet, transformed each episode into a test of endurance. Unlike many shows, this one left me with a lingering sense of regret, an unusual and unwelcome feeling. I hesitate to recommend it as the overall atmosphere is undeniably somber, casting a shadow on the entire viewing experience. Unfortunately, the anticipation for each episode's conclusion felt more like a relief than genuine enjoyment, making it a less-than-ideal choice for those seeking engaging and uplifting content.
Bridgerton (2020)
Pure irony
The series itself is alright. It had allot of potential but besides the cringeworthy genderroles. While black people around that time existed. It seems like allot of people are offended by the fact that a European historical movie contains black people in a positive position. While that actually existed, there is enough proof just do your research instead of calling it inaccurate.
Ironically, the same people offended would care less if Cleopatra was played by a white blue-eyed woman in the middle of africa BC. Or all the other movies where main characters of colour replaced by white actors with allot of make-up. Pure irony. And I'm loving it. Lets change the narrative. Its powerful. If you are offended because you actually think Europeans should be superior in any time of history, you are a part of the problem dear.
Blood & Water (2020)
Love the serie, hate the ending
A high quality series but the ending is way to open.. hope that means a other season is coming
