Good Witch: What's Your Secret? (2016)
Research lacking about London
Much as I am enjoying the series, the lack of research about London is annoying. Grace said 180 days of rain...ridiculous. Nick says 8 hours of schooling per day...rather stupid comment. The annoying wimp Brandon and his domineering wife is really unbearable to watch and the way John can flick his fingers and Carrie always responds with a yes ok then is teeth grating. How can a mere doctor afford to purchase a lake house with boat and jet skis probably worth over a million is beyond me, but I suppose this is America where everyone has to pay for treatment, or the Insurance company and for some reason doctors earn a fortune.
Sanae matseon: Episode #1.12 (2022)
Highlights the difference between Western and Asian culture.
Apart from the poor ending which seems to be typical of K-Dramas, I thought this episode highlighted important differences between cultures. In Western culture if you strike hit or smack your children (however old they are) it is a criminal offence. To hit another person is common assault. This is punishable by a hefty fine, imprisonment or both. The part where Ha-Ri's mother continuously batters Ha-Ri and even hits President Kang would not be tolerated in western culture. Secondly,
a father or grandfather to have such an influence on their children's or grandchild's love life to the extent of insisting they break up would be unheard of in USA or Europe.
As for the ending it seems the writers and directors struggle after great work on the rest of the drama. Too many unanswered questions to list. Pity it was a great drama.
Sanae matseon: Episode #1.3 (2022)
Deceit and lies.
How can anyone, especially a clever guy, fall for someone who just lies and is deceitful all the time. Makes no sense. I don't like misunderstandings generally in dramas unless it is resolved quite quickly, but in this drama the misunderstanding is continuous. I am on Episode 4 and the lies and deceit just keep on coming.

Really enjoyed this drama.
Really enjoyed this drama. Many of the reviews failed to pick up on the fact that the Frontman was a previous winner. He shot his brother, maybe he killed him, maybe not. But being through the game he could be regarded as ruthless. Looking forward to season 2 with Ring a Ring of roses, hopscotch, and maybe rounders.
Roboti Aniya (2017)
Emotionally drained
What a fantastic series. Good story, funny and emotional. I have watched the climatic love scene over and over again and tears roll down my cheek, which is surprising because I never cry. Last 10 minutes a bit iffy but I can take that. Got to say the acting was top quality from all involved. It is the highest rating i have given to any film or series, it was that good. Thanks.
Another Life: A Mind of Its Own (2019)
How do they know which way is North East.
So they land on an alien moon in a different part of the galaxy looking for an alien artefact. Right which way to the artefact. It's about 1 kilometre North East. WTF. No point of reference but without thinking they know which way North East is on an alien moon with different planets and suns surrounding the moon. Very clever these Americans.
Warrior Nun: Revelation 2:10 (2020)
Bad ending
I was really looking forward to a great ending. Wasn't to be, very unsatisfactory. I will not be considering watching season 2 if one comes out for this reason
Daylight's End (2016)
Couldn't hear the dialogue
Good film but never heard a word of it even when volume turned up. This was due to constant droning of noise (music) in the background. This seems to happen a lot with certain movies and a good film is limited to B movie channels.
