Redeeming Love (2022)
Beautiful story!
This movie was surprisingly really beautiful! Definitely not what I expected it to be. Whatever is meant to happen, will happen. With the guidance of the Lord, everyone will find their true path in life. No matter if you are Christian or any other religion, kindness, forgiveness and love are the qualities we should all strive to achieve. Michael was such a refreshing character to witness. He was truly one of a kind. The plot had a lot of ups and downs, twists. What I've come to realise, is that faith goes beyond everything. First faith, then love. God has a plan for all of us. Keep going and growing, God loves you!
Feel the Beat (2020)
Enjoyed it a lot!
This is a pretty cliche but at the same time not really - movie. I really liked the plot and the execution. I cried a couple of time 😅 It's one of those movies that make you feel good and you just get drown in them. Definitely recommend it. It would be really cool if there was a second movie too. Generally, some movies are meant to be just that - without any more progress but I think it would be really cool and fun to see what the kids would be up to in the future. Maybe a follow up into their adulthood and their careers in the dance industry or in general would be very interesting. Additionally, it would be nice to see what April's and Nick's future might look like :))
Choose Love (2023)
Very interesting way of producing!
Choosing the fate of Cami was quite interesting! I tried all 3 different endings - I didn't find the ending where she chose herself. Let me explain about my decision a bit more:
Cami and Rex wouldn't really work long-term. Personally I think that it would just a fleeting love or interest - that she would later think on when she was older and maybe share her adventures with her kids. Cami and Rex just met! Also, Rex seems very sweet unlike the stereotype of famous people but he seems to enjoy life on the go and on his own. He doesn't have a home and every day is an adventure. He even admitted that he likes it that way. By not choosing Rex, she can focus on herself and at the same time still remain associates and maybe even friends with the fellow musician.
Cami and Jack could work but that's not certain. Personally Jack is the fantasy that we all have - to reunite with our first love. But that is just a fantasy. Cami and Jack could have tried to reconnect through the years or at least keep in touch as friends but that is no the case. This is way this option was very tempting and felt right in a way but I don't think Cami should just throw her life away for a childhood fantasy.
Now, let's talk about the choise that I actually made last. I wanted to try out the other options first before making my final decision. Cami and Paul are cliche. They have been together for what seems to be like a couple of years. They argue but not that much - they have their own sense of humor in a way and they seem to be getting along quite well. Additionally, Cami's sister and brother in law like him. Paul might be the boring and easy option but I think it's fine to play it safe and continue building her life with him. Before going to the psychic, Cami seemed to have her life figured out a bit - at least relationship wise. Meeting with Jack and Rex was just a good reminder that she should appreciate the person that she has had and still has next to her.
XO, Kitty (2023)
Good potential, bad execution
This series could turn out ''great'' but that is not the point here. First of all, there are too many things happening. It feels like a hurricane. I don't understand why Kitty has to be bi. Also, by watching the trailer and the first episode I got the feeling that Kitty would end up with Min-ho which would be a cliche but nevertheless cute turn of events. The ending is so weird, like everyone is in love with Kitty, it's too weird and makes no sense. I'd prefer Kitty to end up with Min-ho since they have that love-hate relationship going. Her and Yuri make no sense whatsover and the whole plot is very bad and fast executed. It seems like there are too many things happening at once or the one after the other but they aren't even happening in a normal pace. They just unfold with no explanation or ''justification''. It's basically a love triangle after the other, too much for me. I am dissapointed with how the first season turned out to be.
