To cut things short, the movie is in general about the lonely childhood of the narrator and in a way her concern about the neglective and probably divorcing mother. All other stories which most critics here stresses about grand parent, old house, nostalgia etc are second degree things. Its a great movie reminding me somehow David Lynch echole with really chilling tense moments: Nelly's friend Marion must be an imaginary friend, Marion's house/her mother and their friendship. Actually everything takes place in Nelly's house. The wood home was built by the departed mother of Nelly. What an artistic way to express a childs lonliness. Like most of C. S. movies its a deep one. Good to have people who are concerned with artistic expressions and dont care about the rest.

surprisingly good second season

I watched the whole 2. season of the series and i am surprised how good it is in many ways. First season was ok, i really enjoyed it but was more like an enjyable one.. I can say second season is solid and the pace is on it can go like this forever.. Keep the good work going.. Congraculations on whoever participated in this series, i can say you guys did a great job!
