A Gentleman in Moscow (2024)
Please ignore "inappropriate" casting
Most of the reviews here complain about the casting. Yes, I get certain people might not have existed in that period of time in that region. I also get that this is not historically accurate. But it never pretends to be! This is fiction and it's a pretty good series.
The setting is really nice, the actors play very well, I actually like even the ones that play the "negative" roles, the music is absolutely wonderful.
So please, while I also don't like some things being forced and out of place in general, here it really doesn't bother me. It's fine. Let's not just complain every time without meaning.
Just give it a chance.
Berlín (2023)
It is really good! What are the bad reviews thinking?
I don't usually write reviews on IMDB, I stick to just giving them a grade and that's all. But I almost skipped over this series because of the reviews (I try not to watch series that have under 8 due to time constraints), and I am mad that could have happened.
First of all, Berlin was one of my favourite characters in Money Heist and after *spoiler* he died *end spoiler* the show felt empty for me. So when I saw they were making an entire series I was excited.
Does it have people acting very annoying and stupid? Yes! Does it matter? Not really. It is still a great show.
Love is in the center, but I don't understand how the heist is considered not important by other reviews? It was, but love was the main thing impacting it. Because, love is the most important. And sometimes it makes you do stupid things.
Anyway, TLDR, please give it a shot and don't skip it as I almost did. You might actually enjoy it a lot, like I did.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022)
Good movie ruined by poor choices
I really liked a lot of the movie, and I see myself giving it a much higher score if not by the horrible choices the completely ruined everything for me. Not going to go in the details because it is pointless. Just disappointed.
A Simple Favor (2018)
Twilight level writing
The film wasn't that bad. It was somewhat enjoyable. But it has so many forced twist and the end is just plain bad.
