Ted Lasso: Rainbow (2021)
You had me at Coach
You had me at coach, need I say more.
Best episode of the series.
Star Trek: Picard (2020)
Seems like written by a 6 year old
I had high hopes about this series, but boy did it disappoint. Poorly written characters, cameos thrown here and there, and a script seems like written by a 6 year old
Joker (2019)
Hated this movie.
Hated everything about this movie, except Phoenix's performance. Too long and slow paced. Director tried to do an "artsy" take on the comic book genre and in my opinion, he completely missed the point. Joker is a character invented more than 60 years ago, throwing away all that history is an insult to all comic book lovers
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
A Boring Tarantino vanity project
I kept waiting for the movie to pick up pace but I was left disappointed. The usual Tarantino dialogue was also lacking. No plot whatsoever. The only thing Tarantino excelled in this movie was how he recreated the era. Pitt and DiCaprio were both great, however Margot Robbie was wasted as Sharon Tate. And then the Ending... After Inglorious Ba####ds I did not expect Tarantino to again alter the history. Whats the point to recreate an Era and ambient the movie in a specific point in History and then change it. I liked it in Inglorious Ba####ds, but to repeat it is lack of originality. I also did not like the mocking of Bruce Lee. Tarantino tried to defend himself by stating that the Brad Pitt's Character was ficticious but that does not explain Bruce Lee's depiction.
Mr. Iglesias (2019)
I Love Fluffy as a Stand up, However this sitcom was very Disappointing.
I had high hopes for this sitcom, as I am a fan of Fluffy, however this sit-com was very bland. It feels like a very bad 90 s sitcom. Sometimes you would hear laughing tracks for nothing, and you would think ' was that supposed to be funny?' . Most Jokes are not that funny, and every episode you would hear a politically aimed joke or two.
Also , usually for a sitcom to be successful, there must be a good supporting characters, but in this case, No.
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
Breathtaking
I literally walked up to the front screen and stared in awe and excitement. Never in my life I fealt so breathless.
I saw some negative reviews from some viewers, but I cannot agree with them. Probably because their crazy fan theories do not pan out. But the reason this series is awesome is that you never know what's going happen. On a negative note, yes maybe its a bit too dark , but who cares, its a long night no
Holmes & Watson (2018)
Terrible Movie
Never in my life I was tempted to leave from the cinema halfway through, however I stayed hoping for a joke or two that could make me smile...., most likely you would cringe instead of laughing.
If you want a funny take on Sherlock holmes watch 'Without a Clue' with Michael Caine and Ben Kingsley
The Meg (2018)
Shark fun.
I see a lot of negative critics, I understand, however what were they expecting ? I went to see a movie with a Giant shark and Jason Statham and thats what you get. Its mindless fun. On the downside acting is not that great
Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018)
It delivers
This is a great movie, not one of the best movies ever, but a great movie. It delivers in every sense, Good story, good acting, suspense, breathtaking suspense and the best car chase since Ronin (what is it with great car chases and France? )
