Shoumetsu toshi (2019)
I don't know
Am I the only lost here? I'm watching on Hulu and either episodes are missing or they're out of order but I just started 5: Affection and where did these new characters come from and what happened to Takuya's injuries and ***SPOILERS*** we left episode 4 with Ryouko being stabbed by Shunpei and left to die but now she's all peachy? Idk i think this could be good so I'm just gonna hold on as best I can over these gaps and try to figure it out and maybe come back to give a better/clearer review. Fingers crossed.
The Exorcist (2016)
We need more!
I am a horror fanatic. I am not a fan of gore or jump-scares. This series has an amazing story line and needs to be explored further. This show has been on my to watch list for a long time and I finally sat down and started it. Once started I couldn't stop. I needed to keep watching every single episode, it's just so good. I can't believe the series is canceled! Someone needs to pick this up with the same actors and keep exploring the storyline because it has so many possibilities and so many good storylines they can follow. I love this series so much that if it came out on another subscription service that I didn't have, I would cancel my other subscriptions to subscribe just so I can watch the more of the series.
The Inheritance (2020)
I... It had so much potential
It had a good premise, there was a decent twist but... I'm so confused? Some of the acting (*coughcoughPETERcoughcough*) left a lot to be desired. But... Maybe it's I'm missing some important Russian aspect? I don't understand why it was so imperative for her to sell other than Peter had amassed some serious debts. To the Russian Mafia? I guess that's to be assumed. Then is that who she was selling to? Or supposed to? My mind went on this crazy trip that it was the maid's family that desperately wanted the property but then how does that work out? Maybe it was her babushka's family? That would make sense, in a way. Does the murder tie in with the people offering all this money and scarily desperately wanting this place? What does one have to do with the other? If it was just the mob wanting their piece of a potential cash pie, why did they leave her unscathed after demolishing Peter? Why did it end with her packed to get in the car only to be going back in? Was this set up for a sequel? Again, it had a really good premise and promise but failed to deliver. Five stars for being mildly entertaining, at least more so than some of the other recent horror scum that I've been coming across. If you've got a wild imagination, you'll make up at least four different scenarios as you wait for things to play out to an unsatisfactory end.
9-1-1: Eddie Begins (2020)
Too much
I love this show but this episode just felt like maybe they needed a lot of padding because the flashbacks lasted too long and a lot of it felt redundant. It also felt like a lot of hand holding to get the viewer to the point.
Monsters: Dark Continent (2014)
Are you serious
If you're like me and came here based off the first movie, DO NOT BOTHER. Considering how the first movie just ENDS, I was so ready and excited to drop money on the second. It's just a poor excuse supposedly saying it has a connection by dropping some related words here and there.
The Kissing Booth (2018)
Terrible
Massive cheese fest. Terrible message for females. Subpar acting. Excessively predictable and full of cliches.
Nurarihyon no mago: The Destiny of the Demon Capital (2011)
Forget the rest of the series, just watch this episode
The first 12 1/2 minutes of this episode recaps the previous 12 episodes (so about a minute per episode) so it's mostly a waste of your time to watch the entire season when you can just digest it in one 20 minute sitting, especially when a lot of the previous episodes are kinda like "what" and leaves you just hanging there, with no real explanation, not even in this synopsis/run down episode.

Il racconto dei racconti - Tale of Tales (2015)
Less than 5 minutes in, ruined
John C. Reilly was an exceptionally horrible acting choice and his accent (or rather, lack of) made my hopes for this film go from a 5 to a 0.
Queer Eye: You Can't Fix Ugly (2018)
High expectation for the rest of the series after this.
This is one of the most touching and heartwarming things I have seen in a long time.
Being Human: House Hunting (2014)
Bring a vomit bag.
I get the camera direction but holy overdoing it. Extreme nausea makes it impossible to watch.
Hemlock Grove (2013)
Meh
It's truly terrible. I haven't read the book(s) so I don't know how it compares but it breaks its own rules in the universe that it created, for one. The acting is hit and miss. Maybe the characters are supposed to also let their native accents slip? A lot? It gets much worse in the third season. Speaking of the third season, it's a travesty and doesn't know where it wants to go or who it wants to be. Just throw it at a wall and see what sticks. On top of that, let's just smear it with incest and pedophilia for good measure.
