Sharp writing & acting, but irritating laugh track
3 February 2020
Funny writing and great characters! Laugh track, though, makes it feel like 1975. Why do that?? This short series deserves better than that.

Updates the Murder at the Manor Mystery With Wit & Style
1 December 2019
Though not similar in plot, this stupendous update of the classic "someone's dead in the manor-whodunit" put me in mind of "Clue" because of its fun, out there characters and the huge manor house where the murder has occurred.

The cast is especially fun and surprising because they're such an assorted lot, with not one of them an actor I'd expect to be cast in a murder mystery.

Standouts are Ana de Armas as the caregiver at the center of the mystery and Daniel Craig with an Foghorn Leghorn Southern accent that's a career 180 for him. Hilarious!

You won't figure out the end till the end. It's just a fun ride the whole way through. The only reason I gave it only 9 out of 10 is that it lagged a bit in the second hour, but it never bores me!

Don't miss seeing this in the theater. It's a blast seeing the crazy expressions and petty behaviors of the characters on the big screen.
