Comedy Central Roasts: Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump (2011)
One of the best roasts
Politics aside, I watched this roast when it first came out and it was hilarious then and it's still hilarious now.
The jokes were right on target. They were really funny, entertaining, and it made me laugh a lot.
Snoop Dogg absolutely killed in this roast. He was so hilarious and every time he would speak. It would make me laugh a lot.
Oh my God, the situation let's talk about that situation... embarrassing let's say, but it's still hilarious.
It's funny to see how Hollywood used to perceive Donald Trump in a different light than they do today. They made a lot of jokes about him becoming president etc. And I guess that's not a spoiler to anyone- he ended up becoming one.
Like I said above, I watched this roast when it first came out and now I'm watching again after many many years ....and it gave me a lot of nostalgia thinking about how comedy was back in the day and how we could have a good laugh together.... Now things are different and it will never be the same.
This roast brought me back to good old times.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013)
Used to be such an amazing series...
Now it's ruined. I understand we are going through a lot right now but I used to watch B99 to forget about everything and have a laugh. Now I just feel bad while I watch it.
Unfortunately not watching anymore.
Seed of Chucky (2004)
Come on, this is awesome!
You can't look at this as a horror film but as a comedy. It's hilarious, I love Jennifer Tilly and the whole story is just really funny.
I enjoyed it and I will defiantly watch it again.
Mr. Mayor (2021)
Signed up for Peacock just for this show
I seriously loved this show. I adore on how it kind of makes fun of today's culture and the acting is pretty great.
I can't believe it's getting so many bad reviews... totally worth the watch!
Murder Mystery (2019)
Aniston and Sandler in the same movie again? Heck yes !!!
I just love these two together. As soon as I saw this on Netflix I knew I had to watch it.
Miss these types of films.
It was a very fun movie throughout
Terrifier (2016)
Pure Rubbish
Rubbish. I mean, there is no other way of explain it... It honestly took me 1 week to watch this film because it was SOOOO boring and barely written that i mentally could not handle for over 15 min at a time.
First of all, there is no character development, not even for the clown.
Character development is very important in any movie... you need that in order to connect with the story... maybe that's why I found the film so so so BAAAD....
I was horrified at one point, when the clown ***out of nowhere*** pulled a gun out and killed one of the girls. I mean, what? I have NEVER seen a serial killer change weapons like this...hahahah I started laughing at that point. I was like "yeah, the writer and director just gave up at that point..."
Horrible movie, I wish that hadn't happened to me.
Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th (2013)
Getting goosebumps throughout the documentary
I am a huge fan of the 'Friday the 13th' franchise. Watching this documentary was just so enlightening! See how everything started, one of the biggest horror films ever made,is amazing, and while watching the documentary I felt like part of that. Seeing all my favorite characters, the stunts, and even how the hockey mask became a thing was fantastic.
From all the actors who portrayed Jason Voorhees , my favorite is Steve Dash. This guy was such a professional. (watch the documentary and you will understand) :)
I don't usually write reviews, but this doc was amazing!
Independence Day: Resurgence (2016)
Trying too hard/ Just plain awful
Wow, I am frustrated. I wish I could have those 2 hours I spent going to the movies back. I should have stayed at home playing with my dog.
- First of all, I completely understand why Will Smith did not want any part on this movie. His manager probably read the script and instantly knew it was going to be bad and cheesy. I was actually rooting for the aliens to kill everyone as soon as possible so the movie could be done. If that had happened, this movie would have gained a 10 star rating on IMDb. I think they tried to "replace" Will's part with Liam H. We all remember Will being the funny one during the first movie. He was hilarious!! They tried to do the same thing with Liam, however, his jokes were so ridiculously bad and they were trying too hard. Liam has no charisma whatsoever. I think the big mother alien had more charisma than Liam Hemsworth.
What kind of saved the movie a little bit was the older characters and the big Nigerian guy. That's it. Everybody else had no personality, there were not entertaining, and they kind of make you cheer for the of the world.
With the first movie, I felt so empowered. This one, not that much. The writing on this movie and plot were really, really bad. I mean, seemed like a 10 year old wrote it. I wish I could have my money & time back.
