Avengers: Endgame (2019)
A well deserved final film to mark the end of an era
What can you say from the first minute to the final scene, it was perfection.
Not going to post any spoilers but anyone who has followed all or even some of the franchise movies won't be disappointed.
I feel a revisit is due within the next few days to revisit some memorable scenes.
I did shed an odd tear which I didn't expect to.
Enjoy
Line of Duty: Breach (2016)
Brilliant end to season 3
What can be said about the last episode of season 3 - only that it was brilliant edge on the seat.
The writers, casts and crew all played their part in creating a great TV show which they should all be proud of.
It didn't look great at first for Arnott, Cottan seemed to have an answer for any questions raised by Arnott during his interrogation. Turning point I think was when Cottan let slipped that it wasn't the note but was left in the envelope but something else. Everything fell silent for a few seconds and that was the start of the downfall of Cottan.
Cottan was still coming across cool and collective and had a suitable response during his interrogation, but you could see things were falling apart (every sip of water he drank, things were going downhill).
But the unexpected turn of events was when he sent the text message and the chase to try and capture him. Cottan "The Caddy" wasn't going down quietly.
I think if they need a female James Bond, they've a good contender in Fleming.
Delighted that they've already announced a season 4 which they'll start filming in August.
The Leftovers (2014)
Best series out there
I will look forward to watching this series all over again as it's one of the best out there at the moment.
The music is a major plus to this show - could listen to it forever. The characters and story telling - loved the first series when we got to spend several episodes concentrating on one person. My favorite is Nora followed by Kevin.
For me to like all characters in a show doesn't happen too often. They have developed over the series and even though it did tidy up well in the end of series 2 in case it wasn't renewed I hope the powers to be decide to.
Major Crimes: Snitch (2015)
Good episode but...
I think the story writers need to write Rusty out of this series as his story is non relevant to the series anymore. I would prefer to concentrate on the main story in each episode. If the writers want to spend sometime away from the main story, follow the detectives outside of the office instead just to see what their lives are like away from the office.
I love Major Crimes but without Rusty, it's spoiling my enjoyment of this show. Can we see more of Dr Joe Bowman maybe? Develop his character working along with the detectives on a consulting level.
Tonight's episode overall wasn't the best in my opinion. The involvement in a non-interesting side storyline took away from the main story.
