This animè does everything you'd come to expect from a animè and movie alike. While it retains the "childish" like animè charm, it's still impressive with the movie-like memorable scenes that is enjoyable by those who've outgrown animès in general. While the series depicts a world of ninjas, you don't necessarily get the whole stereotype you've become used too, as this animè has an incredibly good, multi-layered story, which gives them the whole unique style, which in my opinion is better than the ninja stereotype. The story is filled with many twists and turns, some expectable, some not. But they all come as a bit of a shock, as it's not the way you imagined it to be, but still it isn't disappointing. While the enemies are not only memorable, not necessarily all of them is evil, most of them has a reason for doing what they are doing, without it being something selfish or out of money or power.
Naruto keeps a fine line between funny episodes and serious episodes, while the majority is serious episodes, that isn't a bad thing.
Naruto's story begins with a Demon Fox getting sealed within Naruto by the head ninja of his village at the time: The Fourth Hokage, the Hokage himself wanted Naruto to be viewed as a hero for this. But the villagers viewed Naruto as merely a Demon Fox, responsible for killing many of the villagers. This distanced the Villagers from Naruto, and he became a lonely child without any family. Driven to prove himself, and perhaps change the villagers' outlook on him, he becomes a ninja with the dream of become the Hokage over his village.
The music of this animè is pretty good, and is surprisingly used at the best of times. Upping the overall fun of watching this.
The only bad thing I can think of about the animè is the neverending filler saga between Naruto p.1 and Naruto p.2. Sure, fillers isn't something to be upset about, as in Naruto's case it was necessary. But the ridicilousness of certain fillers really take away something from the show, and is not really that good. The story is thinner and may result in you getting bored from the show before the second part is shown.
