Mad Men (2007)
I gave this a 6...without January Jones, it's a 10
First, I like the show a lot. It's creative, interesting, some great action but every time January Jones' character comes on the screen, I think shaving my testicles with a butter knife would be more enjoyable.
She's a miserable character, her expressions rarely change, she's uninteresting and even with a bleeding testicle, I would still prefer that over watching her in this show. Character mother's like hers are the reason why character children commit suicide. The other characters are interesting, have good story lines. I'm surprised the finale wasn't just a room of dead people having died of smoke-induced cancer or alcoholism. The smoking and the drink was a tad overdone (sarcasm).
Love Under the Stars (2015)
Wow...some seriously bad acting
First, I do realize that this a Hallmark movie of the week but I really wish Hollywood would either find a new formula or find some actors who don't have that Ken and Barbie look. I'd rather watch great acting from ugly people than bad acting from good looking people. Otherwise, all Hallmark needs to do is stop spending their money, make one move and run it over and over again. They are all the same anyway.
The kid is mildly cute but the two main adult actors, are formulaic, predictable, tiresome and over done.
I'd rather watch 24 hours of a good working formula (Murder, She Wrote, MASH, etc) than this goulash of nothingness.
Jurassic World (2015)
Terrible Movie
This movie is so bad on so many levels.
First, the overuse of CGI makes this a very bad movie not to mention that the plot is just stupid. This is nothing more than a 'final destination' type film. It has no chemistry, no story and worse, did they not realize that music is a character in the film? As for the kids in the film, I kept hoping the dinosaurs would eat them almost from the beginning just to spare me from their acting.
You can always tell when Steven Spielberg isn't directly involved in the making of a film.
I would suggest staying away.
