Spycraft: Clandestine Collection (2021)
Clearly propaganda
They claimed that Edward Snowden gave classified information to Russians while he was in Hong Kong, but they never backed up their claim with evidence. The man who said that isn't even in government, he's just a historian and author, how does he know this? Why was this never in the news? I tried looking for any kind of report that says this but I found nothing. This is definitely propaganda. They never even explained what Snowden revealed about how our government has been spying on us. How do you talk about Snowden without even explaining that? Oh and the narrator can't even pronounce nuclear, continuity, or personnel correctly smh
The Office (2005)
I can't stop watching this show....please help me 😩
I've rewatched this entire show many times, possibly over 10 times! I just can't stop man. There are still times where it manages to make me laugh out loud. The first season starts out slow, but I can assure you that if you continue watching through the second season, you'll get hooked!!
Blown Away (2019)
Finale decision was based on politics not talent
I was hooked on this show but then felt like I wasted my time once it was over. I'm a liberal who's a big supporter of feminism however political statements shouldn't have been the determining factor for the winner of a glass blowing competition. The guy who got 2nd place was orders of magnitude more talented than the winner. She only won because of the message of her gallery. The judges did not take into account the technical skill and beauty of the other contestant's gallery nor did they take into account their work from previous episodes like they said they would. The winner stuck sausages through a hole in a frying pan and said it had something to do with feminism and inequality so of course she just had to win.
To make it even more disappointing, the winner was very rude and obnoxious towards the other contestants throughout the show. She referred to herself as a genius for making a giant red hand while always insulting other artists' works by calling them "pedestrian". I dont feel like watching this show anymore because the artist who was by far the most talented didn't win.
Btw did anyone else notice that in episode 3 we were never shown the judges' intital reactions towards Deborah's big red hand? I really thought she was going to get sent home because of it. I was looking forward to hearing the harsh critique of the judges because she was calling herself a creative genius for making what was essentially an oven mitt.
Inhumans (2017)
Expected so much worse considering all the harsh reviews
After seeing all the super negative reviews of this show, I was expecting something really terrible but it actually wasn't that bad. In fact, I wouldn't even call it bad. I enjoyed what I saw and look forward to seeing how the rest of the series unfolds. The plot is intriguing to me so far because although Blackbolt seems to be a good king, there's a caste system on Attilan. Those who have no powers are required to work in the mines for the rest of their life. According to Maximus, this cast system is only necessary because of the small confines of Attilan. I want to know more about why Blackbolt keeps this caste system going. Its interesting because its understandable why Maximus felt the need to carry out a coup.
Inhumans definitely has a corny vibe at times, but hey this is a show based on a comic book. I've seen a lot of people complain about the special effects...come on folks. This isn't a movie with an enormous budget, it's just a TV show. Even if you don't enjoy where the plot is going, you might appreciate the acting. The first set of reviews for this show were definitely way too harsh. If you usually enjoy Marvel stuff, you should give this show a chance.
