Devotion (2022)
The Forgotten War
Movie follows history very closely in this one. Those looking for a battle will be somewhat disappointed, knowing the outcome beforehand allowed me to focus on how the story would appear on the screen. A number of scenes were extremely dark. Not sure how true the Elizabeth Taylor story line was. Otherwise, movie showed the Devotion in a couple of different ways, one a husband and wife to each other; a wingman responsibilities, a serviceman's devotion to country and devotion to one's unit.
Interestingly, noticed Hudner's parents were in the credits. I do not remember them being in the movie.
Only a few noticeable CGI scenes. Not necessarily a movie issue, but after the mission to destroy the planes what remains would have been present.
Just Mercy (2019)
A must see and the book a must read by ALL
As usual, After viewing this movie, I still can not understand why we as a country and a world have not addressed this centuries old issue. I am embarrassed and guilty in my role as one who has not done enough. Show this movie to everyone in your life, young and old. Discuss it with them, I mean a sit down heart felt discussion....not just lip service.
Saved by Grace (2016)
Non-believable Story Line
Worse than a Hallmark movie, as a Christian I was hoping for better. Who goes from where this guy was in the beginning of the movie to falling i. Love with a total stranger in a few hours and how did she know where he lived. The cemetery scene was also a stretch. 5 is being generous.
