A Great film!
11 March 2008
A down-to-earth, realistic description of the 50s like they really were. I was in the army in Germany in the early 60s and a lot of this atmosphere was still present.

Honest, simple movies like this one, with an easy-to-follow theme, are a thing of the past now, with directors packing too much trash into too little time, resulting in hectics with essentially no real message.

And what a collection of stars! A brilliant Freddy Quinn, Brigitta Mira etc. etc., a beautiful Bea Fidler (as always)... I've seen the film several times and am always ready to enjoy it again, tons of erotics but not so much as to burden the film with too much sexuality. A great time warp back to a wonderful era in Germany!

One of the world's few "must see" movies
31 March 2006
This movie changed my life. It is tremendously moving if you are a sensitive person and contains almost as many valuable messages for your life as its length in minutes.

Everyone who knows how to love and wants to learn to love even more should definitely see this film; if you are the type of person who can cry during a film (I never thought I was) then have some Kleenex nearby.

If you find that after viewing this film you do your best to love your partner even more and squeeze the most out of every minute given to you by fate or whatever, then this movie will have opened your eyes in a way similar to how it opened mine.

Ralph, Loving Sandra even more than before
